Much of the media is biased toward the left. Anyone paying attention knows this is true, even as many of these journalists insist that they do not favor one side over the other — meanwhile, rational Americans have stopped listening to them, with many fully believing journalism is dead in the country.
A photo op this week featuring Democratic nominee Joe Biden’s running mate, Sen. Kamala Harris, surveying the results of the California wildfires supports this belief, as seen when the media gushed over her Timberland boots.
Yet, when first lady Melania Trump wore the very same boots during a trip to the Al Asad Air Base in Iraq to visit American troops, she was mocked in the media.
Women For Trump co-founder Amy Kremer was among the first to call attention to this shameless bias.
“I’ve never seen such media bias in my life…,” she tweeted, showcasing contrasting headlines from Yahoo.
One this week, which read, “Kamala Harris may have made Timberland boots cool again” and one from Dec. 2018 that read, “Melania Trump gets mocked for wearing Timberland boots while visiting the troops.”

“You can’t make this up…,” she said in follow up tweets highlighting other examples of the media’s prejudice. “The media is sick.”

Mrs. Trump also wore a pair Timberland boots in 2017, during a tour of Puerto Rico to assess the damage left by Hurricane Maria.
Yahoo ran with an almost identical headline as seen above, “Melania Trump mocked for wearing Timberland boots: ‘This is not a modeling show.'”
“It’s no wonder the American people don’t trust the media,” Kremer said in a tweet.
“I know this isn’t really about the boots. But the boots show the extreme #mediabias. The media will go to any length to push their own agenda. This is disgusting. As I said in an earlier tweet, it’s no wonder Americans don’t trust them,” she added.
BET was also starry-eyed over Harris’ choice of footwear, but the Daily Wire’s Molly Prince reminded the network, “Melania wore them first.”

Earlier this month, Harris was celebrated in the media for wearing Chuck Taylor All-Stars during a visit to Milwaukee.
The Washington Post was goo-goo eyed over her choice of footwear, running with the headline, “Kamala D. Harris goes viral — for her shoe choice.”
Post reporter Chelsea Janes noted that the two videos of her arrival had been viewed nearly 8 million times on Twitter.

“At this point in a presidential campaign,” she wrote, “every move is calculated, often to convey a sense of youth and energy and fitness to reassure voters of a candidate’s ability to handle the rigors of running the country, or helping to do so.”
Not that the media doesn’t pay attention to Mrs. Trump’s footwear — it’s just that the scrutiny comes in the form of criticism.
An example of this was when the first lady was slammed for wearing a pair of sky-high black stilettos while accompanying President Trump on a trip to tour the flood-ravaged Houston area.
Eager to criticize, it didn’t occur to them that Mrs. Trump might change on the flight to Texas… which she did, of course, disembarking in a pair of white sneakers.
