A hostile mob that included many University of Central Florida students swarmed and attacked conservative activist Kaitlin Bennett and her security detail during a campus visit on Thursday.
Several videos of the encounters were posted online, showing hundreds of students following Bennett, chanting, yelling obscenities and, at times, challenging her security guards.
“Imagine having such a visceral emotional reaction to Kaitlin Bennett coming to your college campus to talk about a DIFFERENT POLITICAL VIEW that you violently attack her and her bodyguards?” Mike Coudrey, a conservative activist and entrepreneur, wrote on Twitter.
“No way to act in civil society!” Coudrey continued.
“Left-wing terrorists at @UCF attacked my security & I, wished death on me, & forced me to need a police escort off campus, all because I support @realDonaldTrump. I am calling on Donald Trump to #DefundUCF & any other university that lets domestic terrorists shut down free speech,” Bennett wrote in a tweet accompanying a video of her various confrontations.
Early on in the video, one student wishes death upon Bennett via “coronavirus.”

“I hope you get coronavirus and die for wearing the wrong mask, c**t,” the young woman says.
Next, she is seen talking to a police commander who is telling her to leave the campus because of the escalating situation.
“As a law enforcement officer, you’re…” Bennett says before the officer cuts her off.
“Yeah, because this is unsafe,” he responds, pointing to the gathering crowds. “Look how unsafe this is?”
“I’m not controlling it,” Bennett says.
“If you guys leave, then I can control this,” the officer says.
“No, you can’t,” Bennett answers.
“Yes, I can,” said the officer.
“No, you can’t. If you can’t control it with me here, he can’t control it without me here,” she said.
“We’re gonna move you,” the police commander tells her.
One male student appears to support Bennett’s presence at the campus.
“I think this is utter bulls**t, in my opinion,” the young man says of the threatening crowd. “What you’re doing is you’re promoting the president. There’s nothing wrong with promoting the president.”
He, however, appears to be in the minority — at least regarding the mob that besieged Bennett.
The young conservative activist, who made a name for herself when she slung an AR-15-style rifle over her shoulder during her graduation ceremony from Kent State in 2018 with “Come and Take It” on her cap, also noted the blatant hypocrisy of the mob.
“They’re saying ‘F**k 12,’ ‘f**k the police’ — they have the police here to try to get me off campus,” she said.
The scene then becomes chaotic, to say the least.
After some pushing and shoving between her security detail and the encroaching mob, the decision is made by the detail leader for Bennett to take cover in a nearby coffee shop, which is immediately inundated with angry, shouting students flipping the middle finger and banging on the glass.
Later, Bennett angrily denounces the inaction of the campus police, who — as seen in videos — eventually do show up, but well after she and her detail were forced to retreat to a safer position before eventually escaping out the back of the shop.
“If they would have controlled this instead of blaming it on me, guess what? They wouldn’t be doing this,” she said.
My message to @realDonaldTrump is simple. It's time to DEFUND public universities. Not another penny in taxes should go to these left-wing indoctrination centers! #DefundUCF pic.twitter.com/fmrRd8btWb

How on earth is that okay for the mob to behave in that manner?

If college campuses are not open to Conservative speech, then they should not have access to Conservative tax dollars. #DefundLeftistUniversities

It shows how desperate they are to keep their people in like mind. Free thought has become a myth on college campus and it’s truly depressing.

What a disgrace of a campus with total lack of free speech. Where are the parents didn’t they teach their kids any respect? I have to say it time to start making examples of these colleges and universities who think this is right and remove their funding if they don’t fix it.

What is wrong with the student body at @UCF??
I wouldn’t send any of my children there — assaulting an innocent conservative girl?!
I don’t know who Kaitlin Bennett is, but no one deserves to be attacked like that!
These young socialists are terrifying, Generation Z is scary.
