Left-wing extremists reportedly dressed in Antifa gear attacked and bloodied a non-establishment journalist in downtown Portland, Oregon late Tuesday evening.
The independent journalist, Tayler Hansen, had reportedly been on an undercover assignment when the extremists uncovered his true identity and began hassling him.
Below is a clip from Hansen showing one of the many extremists who riot daily in downtown Portland demanding that he “stop misrepresenting” himself:
It started with a press member recognizing me, he proceeded to get on his phone to show a group of Black Bloc what I believe to be my Instagram.

By “press member,” he likely meant Antifa and Black Lives Matter extremists who wear clothes that falsely identify them as members of the “PRESS.”
After being confronted, Hansen proceeded to leave, change his clothing and return.
However, the extremists identified him again and began broadcasting his identity and location on Twitter, as seen in the since-deleted tweet highlighted below:

To apparently test whether their suspicions were correct, two extremists then walked by Hansen and said, “Hey, Tyler.” In response, he made the mistake of replying, thus inadvertently confirming his identity to them.

Next came the actual attack.
“I began walking away, a few blocks down there was a group of four dressed in Black Bloc waiting for me around the corner. They proceeded to beat me,” Hansen wrote in a series of tweets.
“I was punched in the face, thrown on the ground where they began kicking me in the back and hitting me in the face again. As they fled one yelled ‘Stay out of Portland b*tch!’ I am thankful they stopped the beating when they did and didn’t use weapons to inflict harm or death upon me.”

Hansen’s assault has been completely ignored by America’s elitist, propaganda press, with media figures choosing instead to continue to downplay the destruction and havoc of left-wing extremists by claiming most so-called “protests” have been peaceful.
“The Armed Conflict Location & Event Data Project (ACLED) analyzed more than 7,750 Black Lives Matter demonstrations in all 50 states and Washington D.C. that took place in the wake of George Floyd’s death between May 26 and August 22. Their report states that more than 2,400 locations reported peaceful protests, while fewer than 220 reported ‘violent demonstrations,'” Time magazine reported Saturday.
That means at least nearly 10 percent of so-called “peaceful protests” related to black suspect George Floyd’s death involved assault, harassment, vandalism, arson, etc.
Incidentally, a study published two years ago found that only 1 percent of police arrests involved physical force. This matters because these “protests” and riots have been motivated by anger over the allegedly unjustified use of physical force.
But if it’s no big deal, as the media have suggested, for roughly 10 percent of BLM extremists to riot and, in the process, destroy businesses and literally kill people, why it’s it a big deal for 1 percent of cop encounters to involve potentially fatal force?

Of course, These are the sorts of questions that the increasingly radical, far-left activists in the media will never seek to answer because they’re ostensible propagandists.
Likewise, the media have no interest in the lives of non-establishment journalists, unless those journalists’ work aligns with their ideological goals. As for those journalists who’re only interested in the truth, they deserve to be smeared, according to the establishment press.
In fact, just last week MIT Technology Review ran a hit piece blaming independent journalists like Hansen, as well as Andy Ngo and Elijah Schaffer, for causing the riots in Portland …

To be clear, the piece in MIT Technology Review isn’t journalism … it’s activist propaganda, though that’s not the way members of the press will treat it, of course.
