If there were any doubts that the city of Pittsburgh is being led by a Democrat, the actions of the past few days should put the matter to rest.
Militant Black Lives Matter activists were running rampant in the city over the Labor Day weekend, wreaking havoc and terrorizing white diners sitting outside restaurant facilities. They even showed up on the doorstep of Mayor Bill Peduto’s home.
The violent mob took their lawlessness inside when they set upon a McDonald’s restaurant Saturday and assaulted the manager — who happened to be a black man trying to make a living and provide for his family.

With actions like this, there’s little wonder why polling shows support for Black Lives Matter tanking — a Politico/Morning Consult poll out last week showed that support for BLM has dropped 9% since June, including a 13-point dip among Republicans.
Naturally, Politico blames the fall on President Trump attacking the movement, but its more likely a reaction to continued lawlessness.
In another video from Pittsburgh that went viral over the weekend, the same BLM organizer with the bullhorn is screaming at white diners sitting outside a restaurant.
“You are an embarrassment!” he yells.
Another militant activist walked right up to the table of an elderly white couple and said, “F*ck 12 and the f*ck the white people who built the system …!”

And then there was the spectacle outside Mayor Peduto’s home:

Much like 2020 Democratic nominee Joe Biden is held hostage, forced to support the violence movement or lose key support among the radical left, Peduto initially tried to placate the mob.
Taking to Twitter to respond to a critic, the mayor talked about working with “our Black Community to reimagine policing in our city,” saying Pittsburgh “remains open to any [and] all ideas to work together to create a better city.”
I lost my Mom in February. Last time, I sat on my porch & welcomed protestors w/ dialogue. They chose to end it.
Together, we work w/ our Black Community to reimagine policing in our city. Pittsburgh remains open to any & all ideas to work together to create a better city. https://t.co/MLL8aQK6wX

But there was a noticeable change in the elected official’s tone after he noted that BLM protesters tried to enter his home.
In another tweet, Peduto declared that the “continual denial of law, will end up in arrests. Actions have consequences.”
Ya’ think?
Because twice protestors tried to enter through the front door & multiple threats on social media to attack my home, tonight. Same protection that would be given to any resident under similar threats. https://t.co/AxJhUyw4cc

Tonight at my home – private property. The 1st Amendment doesn’t protect you to close down streets, without a permit. Yes, we have granted extra rights to assure free speech. But, continual denial of law, will end up in arrests. Actions have consequences https://t.co/MQTb2JYqA4

The more Black Lives Matter forces itself on the country, the more the American people see the radical movement for what it is.
Conservative pundit Dana Loesch pretty much nailed it when she tweeted that the movement is more about Marxism than it is about black lives.
This isn’t about black lives, this is about Marxism. https://t.co/r6UisESmLQ

The Black Lives Matter website openly denounces “the Western-prescribed nuclear family structure,” as the destruction of the traditional family model makes it easier to abolish private property.
What’s not in dispute is that one of the three Black Lives Matter co-founders, Patrisse Cullors, declared in a 2015 interview that she and fellow co-founder Alicia Garza, “are trained Marxists.”
Here’s a sampling of responses to Loesch’s tweet from Twitter that suggests people are indeed waking up:
It’s great politics for the Republicans. Great footage for commercials and the ordinary folk who are the backbone of this constitutional republic are fed up (or will be when the USD100Mlns are spent on ads); they are going to the polling booths to ensure this lot don’t get power.

What a shame.. small business owners in PA and throughout the country are already hanging on by the skin of their teeth from lockdowns and these idiots are adding insult to injury burning down what’s left, harassing customers, breaking things, hurting people.. it has to stop..

As a terror organization, BLM needs to be treated like Al Qaeda

And sadly the Mayor @billpeduto encourages it. His little love chat with them on his front porch didn’t go so well, yet he still encourages them to act this way in other parts of the city.

I live here. @billpeduto has repeatedly castigated the police department for arresting these people and recently announced he’d be reorganizing the command structure for not complying. Meanwhile, he has multiple officers taken from patrol to protect his own house.
