Lin Wood, one of several high-powered attorneys who have agreed to defend accused teen Kenosha shooter Kyle Rittenhouse, has threatened to sue Twitter founder Jack Dorsey and take his “a** down” for briefly suspending his account.
Wood said he was locked out of his account for about nine hours Tuesday night after he began tweeting about raising money for Rittenhouse’s legal defense.
Twitter claimed that Wood was “glorifying violence” and locked him out, the Daily Mail reports.
Rittenhouse has been accused of murdering two rioters and wounding a third last week as he was being chased by a number of people on at least two separate occasions, according to video clips posted online.
After several hours, Twitter officials said that the account had been accidentally locked.
“This account was incorrectly actioned,” a Twitter spokesperson told Fox News. “This has been reversed and the account has been reinstated.”
That didn’t seem to mollify Wood.
In an interview, Wood told the network, “I’m going to take Jack Dorsey’s a** down. He has been abusing the First Amendment of this country for his own agenda.”
“I knew they were going to censor me because I’m sending a message of hope,” Wood added. “I’m sending a message of truth. And I’m sending a message that Kyle Rittenhouse is innocent.”
“I was arrested today & confined in Twitter jail falsely accused of glorifying violence. I was exonerated this evening by a finding of ‘incorrectly actioned.’ I am free tonight,” Wood wrote earlier on his Twitter.

“Kyle Rittenhouse was arrested on 8/26 & is confined in Illinois jail falsely accused of murder. Kyle will be exonerated when truth is revealed by a finding of ‘incorrectly actioned.’ Kyle will be free soon,” he added with a link to his #FightBack site, which contains a link to Rittenhouse’s defense fund.
Wood announced Monday, via Twitter, that more than 11,000 donors had helped raise in excess of $605,000 for Rittenhouse’s defense.
“There will be total transparency on part of #FightBack Foundation. To date, 11,254 donors have donated total of $605,550 toward the Foundation’s efforts to fund defense of Kyle Rittenhouse & help support & protect his family,” he wrote.

Some of Wood’s other high-profile clients include Nicholas Sandmann, St. Louis couple Mark and Patricia McCloskey, former Trump campaign associate Carter Page, and Georgia congressional candidate Marjorie Greene. He also defended Richard Jewell, who was defamed by the media after a bomb killed one person and injured 111 others at the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta.
As for social media, Wood said he will begin relying more on Parler, an alternative platform that has attracted a lot of conservatives disenfranchised with Twitter’s anti-conservative bias.
Meanwhile, other social media platforms appear to be limiting or blocking users from donating to the Rittenhouse fund.
YouTuber Mark Dice wrote on Twitter that Facebook removed a video he posted to his account showing Rittenhouse offering to help provide first aid to rioters before the shootings.
“In no way did I ‘glorify’ or celebrate him, nor ‘praise’ him. I simply posted a non-graphic video, and stated as a matter of fact what it showed. He helped a protester who was injured and didn’t show up in Kenosha with any malicious intent to cause trouble,” Dice wrote.

Last week during a third night of rioting following a police-involved shooting of a black man, Rittenhouse allegedly shot and killed Joseph Rosenbaum, 36, and Anthony Huber, 26. He has also been charged with firing at and wounding Gaige Grosskreutz, 26.
Wood has been adamant that Rittenhouse acted in self-defense, as video clips posted online appear to indicate.
Another of teen’s attorneys, John Pierce, posted a video of a phone call he had with Rittenhouse, who remains behind bars. In it, the teen can be heard thanking supporters.

“I just wanna thank every single one of you from the bottom of my heart for the underlining support,” Rittenhouse says. “I just want to thank all of you for the mail I’ve been receiving. It’s been really helpful.
“I just want to let you all know that I’m going to be out of here soon,” he continued. “I hope to see you guys soon.”
Pierce then said that Rittenhouse’s actions were “100 percent self-defense,” adding that if they are not, “then no one can protect themselves” in similar circumstances.
