Grenell goes straight after the Obama-Biden admin for secret spy operation: ‘What I saw made me sick’

Former President Barack Hussein Obama’s administration spied, period …

Speaking at the Republican National Convention this Wednesday evening, former acting Director of National Intelligence Richard Grenell outlined the nefarious way the Obama-Biden administration had spied on President Donald Trump.

“As acting director of national intelligence, I saw the Democrats’ entire case for Russian collusion, and what I saw made me sick to my stomach. The Obama-Biden administration secretly launched a surveillance operation on the Trump campaign and silenced the many brave intelligence officials who spoke up against it,” he said.

“They presented bogus information as facts, they lied to judges, then they classified anything that undermined their case. And after Donald Trump won the election, when they should have continued the American tradition of helping the president-elect transition into the White House, they tried instead to undercut him even more.”

Despite phony fact-checks from outlets like CNN, which was quick to note that “[t]here is no evidence that Obama or Biden personally directed the FBI to surveil people in the Trump campaign” (but Grenell never said there was …), what he said was right.

Many Americans may not know this, but members of the Obama-Biden administration presented a fraudulent dossier of “facts” to a FISA judge and then lied about the nature of those so-called “facts” to convince the court to grant it surveillance warrants.

These lies remain under investigation by the Justice Department and have already led to one Obama-era attorney pleading guilty to using a false statement to fraudulently obtain a surveillance warrant on one of several 2016 Trump campaign officials.

According to Grenell, Democrat presidential nominee Joe Biden also took part in some of the shenanigans.

“Former Vice President Joe Biden asked intelligence officials to uncover the hidden information on President Trump’s incoming national security adviser three weeks before the inauguration,” he explained.

“That’s the Democrats — between surveillance classifications, leaks, and puppet candidates, they never want the American people to know who’s actually calling the shots.”

This was also true.

During his final few weeks in office, Grenell declassified a list of those Obama administration officials who’d sought to unmask Flynn. Included in the list was Biden.

This behavior by the former VP doesn’t appear to make him a criminal.

“Biden made the request on January 12, 2017, eight days before leaving office; an accompanying memo to Grenell, signed by National Security Agency Director Paul Nakasone, specifies that each official listed was ‘an authorized recipient’ and that the ‘unmasking’ was approved through the agency’s normal process,” Forbes notes.

But it does definitely demonstrate that he’s a bold-faced liar. A day before the unmasking list was unclassified, Biden told the hosts of ABC’s “Good Morning America” that he knew “nothing” about the Obama administration’s investigation into Flynn.

“I know nothing about those moves to investigate Michael Flynn,” he said.

What remains unknown is how many people had been aware of these facts prior to Grenell laying them out for the public this Wednesday.

Because of the belief that few likely knew, given the media’s insistence on always covering the Democrats’ tracks, the consensus emerged that Grenell’s remark had been a MOAB (Mother of All Bombs) of sorts as it pertains to how much it’d exposed.

That being said, the latter user may have had a point about liberal Democrats being unlikely to tune into the convention and listen to the facts.

Continuing his remarks Wednesday, Grenell highlighted the Trump administration’s focus on prioritizing the interests of the American people.

“[W]ith Donald Trump, you always know exactly who is in charge, because the answer is you. You’re in charge. Not lobbyists, not special interests, not war mongers, or China sympathizers, or globalization fanatics. President Trump rightly calls his foreign policy America First,” he said.

“America First does not advance the interests of one group of Americans at the expense of another. It has no bias about red or blue, educated or not educated, urban or rural, America First is simply the belief that politicians should focus on the equality and dignity of every American and that this duty is fulfilled by promoting the safety and wealth of the American people above all else. That’s America First.”

With the Obama-Biden administration, sometimes it seemed like everybody else came first instead …
