The RNC may have just found a compelling speaker for its upcoming presidential nominating convention in perhaps an unexpected location.
“I’m not the biggest Trump fan, but I’m on the Trump Train,” Kai the skateboarder told Benny Johnson of Turning Point USA in a man-on-the-street video clip embedded below that was filmed in Sleepy Joe Biden’s hometown of Wilmington, Del.
The skateboarder noted that the only memorable thing that Joe Biden has said recently was “you ain’t black” if you vote for Trump. “That was kind of crazy,” Kai observed.
Kai, who apparently volunteered to be interviewed by Johnson, says that he’s neither a Democrat nor Republican. Instead he “listens to reason at the end of the day.”
The young man seems to be reflecting what a lot of Trump voters, be they Republican, Democrat, independent, are thinking as November 3 draws near.
Kai says that he “appreciates [Trump’s] honesty. He just doesn’t fit the normal criteria for a normal politician, but I really, truly think that he has all good intentions. And if we were to go into the next presidential term, we can look back at Trump, and look at what he’s done, and honestly be kind of impressed.
“And I think that’s why a lot of people did vote for Trump because he’s not a regular politician. We’re just kind of tired of the same old bullcrap over and over…I think he’s doing a particularly good job.”
He also implied that he favors Trump’s law-and-order message.
I went to Joe Biden’s hometown of Wilmington Delaware to talk to the people who live there about Joe Biden.
While we were filming a young man skateboarded up to me and said – “Can we do an interview?”

Kai’s message to Trump: “Keep your head up. A lot of people are going to talk bad about you no matter what you do and who you are. Just keep the good intentions going. keep doing good…over time, people are…gonna look back and gonna be like, Trump wasn’t so bad at all.”
In a separate encounter that gained traction on social media, a Wilmington voter asserted that Democrat Biden’s presence in the area is nonexistent, despite a career spent entirely in elected politics.
“Joe Biden doesn’t do nothing here,” the man said. “I have never seen Joe Biden a day in my life… Donald Trump’s been in office for four years cleaning up their mess for over hundreds of years. It’s not his fault. This is their politicians. This is the change. Donald Trump is the change for us, for the people,” the man declared.
Reacting to the Kai clip, some Twitter users who obviously aren’t Trump fans disagreed with the sentiments, and claimed, among other things, that the video was filmed in a wealthy Wilmington suburb rather than Wilmington itself, or that it was staged.
Other users, however, were impressed by the young man’s thoughts. Here is a sample.
Dear Kai,
What an intelligent, honest and great human being you are! Quite the inspiration for many! You’re interview was one of the best I’ve seen, very uplifting and frankly, the same ole same ole DEM politicians should hire YOU for training on positivity and honesty! God Bless— Dori Lisboa (@clisboa55) August 23, 2020
My God! Someone has to get this video to the Trump team or President Trump himself.

I knew he supported Trump wholeheartedly when he referred to him as “President Donald Trump” first off.
No hater or anyone ‘on the fence’ about Trump calls him this. #Trump2020— CeeCee (@the_exception) August 23, 2020
Kai is a dude, and like most youngsters just wants to live a chill, happy life. Great insight. 💕

I live in Delaware, I’ve seen Kai skateboarding through town before on several occasions. Very friendly dude from what I’ve seen so I take his interview seriously.

If you don’t get that young man to be part of the Republican convention and/or the Trump campaign, the entire campaign team needs to be fired. 😷✊

Kai is young, smart and have a good head on his shoulders! I pray that his friends and more people his age are thinking the same way!
