BLM extremists beg for police help after fed-up patriots clobber them: ‘When the cops are gone, you’re gonna deal with us’

It appears cognitive dissonance runs deep in Portland, Oregon …

During riots Saturday in Portland, where left-wing Black Lives Matter and Antifa extremists have been harassing and assaulting local police and bystanders for weeks, these same left-wing extremists suddenly turned into bawling babies desperate for police protection after someone finally decided to fight back.

“Oh my God! Are you OK? Oh my God, the cops are just standing there!” the camerawoman began squealing after an unidentified assailant knocked two of the extremists to the ground with his fists.

While it’s unclear what provoked the assailant and why exactly the cops just watched, other reports out of Portland suggest that perhaps the crying extremists weren’t as innocent and deserving of protection as it seemed at first glance.

A hodgepodge of conservative groups had reportedly been scheduled to rally in downtown Portland this Saturday in support of the city’s beleaguered police officers.

The event was titled “Mother of All Back The Blue Rallies”:

But according to renowned journalist Andy Ngo, the otherwise peaceful pro-police rally wound up being hijacked by virulently anti-police left-wing extremists.

“Numerous conservative groups held a pro-police rally but it was crashed by #antifa, who threw eggs, rocks, feces & urine,” he reported via Twitter.

What ensued was a tremendous deal of violence, the majority of it (but not necessarily all of it) seemingly instigated by the left-wing extremists.

What the left-wing extremists weren’t expecting was so much resistance.

Like one pro-police rallygoer said, “When the cops are gone, you’re gonna deal with us.”

It seems left-wing extremists hijacked a peaceful pro-police rally, threw “eggs, rocks, feces & urine” at the rallygoers, and then cried foul the moment one of the otherwise peaceful pro-police protesters had enough and decided to fight back.

Similar events played out in Denver, Colorado, where, unfortunately for locals, there were no conservative patriots present to challenge the left-wing extremists.

“An anti-police protest in Denver outside police department headquarters escalated into violence Saturday night as rioters began smashing windows, setting small fires in the street, throwing rocks and hurling fireworks toward officers,” Fox News reported.

“At one point, members of the crowd in what was dubbed the ‘Give Em Hell’ protest were seen trying to tear down a fence that was surrounding the Statehouse.”

If you juxtapose the footage from Denver with the footage from Portland, particularly the footage of left-wing extremists chiding the police for not protecting them, one question quickly comes to mind:

What do you call it when left-wing extremists who hate the police, vandalize businesses, and attack peaceful protesters and the cops, perform an about-face and suddenly start begging for police protection?

You call it cognitive dissonance!
