A young black man and supporter of President Donald Trump who claims to be a resident of Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden’s hometown of Wilmington, Del., says in a viral video he’s never seen the former vice president and long-serving U.S. senator in his neighborhood.
“Joe Biden doesn’t do nothing here,” the man says as he leans out of a car window, adding that he lives on “East 28th street right across from the projects.”

“I have never seen Joe Biden a day in my life, ever, to come to Delaware and do anything,” he continues. “It’s lies, it’s all lies.
“Four years. Donald Trump’s been in office for four years cleaning up their mess for over hundreds of years. It’s not his fault,” the man says. “This is their politicians. This is the change. Donald Trump is the change for us, for the people.”
According to recent surveys, black voters are increasingly turned away from the Democrat Party and towards President Trump.
In November, a pair of surveys had the president’s support among blacks at an astounding 34 percent, leading CNN’s ‘Republican’ contributor Ana Navarro incredulous.
“Zero chance this is accurate. Zero. The poll must have only been conducted in the homes of Ben Carson, Kanye, that sheriff guy with the hat and those two Cubic Zirconia & Polyester-Spandex ladies,” she claimed.

At the same time, a February poll found that Democrats, who have historically gotten the vast majority of the black vote despite the party’s history of supporting slavery, the Confederacy, and the KKK, were underperforming with the demographic, according to Politico.
“The survey, conducted by the political action committee BlackPAC, found that while black voters are largely supportive of the Democratic Party and align most with its values, more than half feel that the party is not paying close enough attention to the black community,” the outlet reported.
“Democrats, they argue, grew too distracted by impeachment to focus on the issues that matter to black voters, putting them out of touch with the key bloc whose support they’ve relied on for decades,” the report added.
In fact, blacks and Hispanics, pre-COVID-19 shutdown of the economy, were doing better in the U.S. economically and in terms of having additional employment and education opportunities in a half-century.
A year ago, the unemployment rate for black workers fell from 6 percent in July to 5.5 percent the following month.
The president has also won plaudits from black community leaders. In May, Pastor Darrell Scott said after living through 12 previous presidential administrations, the Trump presidency has been the most pro-black that he’s seen.
“I said it before unashamedly and I say it again: This president has been — I’ve lived under 12 presidential administrations. I was born during the Eisenhower’s administration. This president has been the most pro-black president in my lifetime,” he said.
“But when I say ‘pro,’ I’m saying pro in the sense of being proactive. He’s been proactive, rather than reactive, to issues concerning minority, underserved, and disadvantaged communities than any other president in my lifetime. I really believe history is going to be kinder to you, Mr. President, than the fake news media is today,” he added.
The following month, black CEO and GOP strategist Raynard Jackson warned that black anti-Trump journalists like CNN’s Don Lemon and homophobic MSNBC host Joy Reid are harming more people in their community than anything the president is or is not doing.
“I’d like to say to all the media assembled here that I wish they’d quit lying about what you [President Trump] specifically have done for the black community,” he said.
“You got radical liberal journalists like Joy Reid from MSNBC, Don Lemon from CNN, and Roland Martin who are putting more poison into the black community than any drug dealer, who are killing more black folks than any white person with a sheet over their face,” Jackson continued.
