Politics is almost always a game where the candidates seek to convince voters that they are someone they’re not. The effort is usually deeper than simply “putting your best foot forward”. Candidates tell audiences what they think the audience wants to hear, and they hide the rest.

It has become obvious that Kamala Harris is a pro at doing just that. Politicians crave power. She becomes a different person, depending on the audience, saying whatever she thinks will help her the most.

So, who is Kamala Harris, really?

Well, no one with any sense will accept her self-description, which is carefully contrived. So let’s look at facts. For starters, it’s clear she’s not moderate. Ms. Harris compiled one of the most liberal voting records in the U.S. Senate in 2019, while the only law she passed was to sponsor a monument. She’s not a pragmatist, like the NY Times and their ilk are trying to tell us. No, she’s a progressive chameleon, a shape-shifter who will be whatever she needs to be at the time. It’s a question of authenticity. Her “moderate” pretense is a Trojan horse but with a radical agenda.

Harris has earned a charter membership into the Ultra-Progressive’s Club. Let’s count the ways. She supports the Green New Deal. She signed on for the Senate Medicare-For-All bill and supported single-payer health insurance in her presidential campaign. Harris opposed the two major trade bills with Mexico and Canada and the Trans-Pacific Partnership. She pushed for a guaranteed income for every American, free college, and wants complete repeal of the 2017 tax cuts. No borders for her; and yet she fights to expand protections for illegal immigrants, including giving health care to all illegals and no jail time for them.

Harris has promised she will use executive orders, overriding Congress, to impose new gun controls. She’s against fracking, resulting in job elimination. She backs a “system that scrapped private health insurance altogether”. And according to the Wall Street Journal, she “introduced a resolution in the Senate to abolish qualified immunity for police officers”.

She uses prosecutorial power against political opponents. As California AG, Harris punished a business she didn’t like–Prime Healthcare Services—while acting to help the SEIU union, who supported her politically by promising her political contributions of $25 million. And, strange for a former prosecutor, she “wants a reduction in cash bail” for criminally-charged arrestees.

Not only that but when Joe Biden named her as running mate, she told multiple lies in her first speech out of the starting gate. She claimed that Trump has mandated that “Millions of kids cannot go back to school.” Wrong, of course, since schools are not run by the federal government. She said Trump allowed the virus to “hit America worse than any other advanced nation”. Another lie, because a number of advanced nations have endured more fatalities per million than America. She also sold out the police on Aug.12, giving glowing kudos to BLM.

But what is most scary is that this woman, who has never run a large, complex organization, could easily coast into becoming the president of our republic. Shades of Barack Obama, as we already know the disasters that can happen when an inexperienced newbie takes the reins of President of the U.S.  A Senator doesn’t need to know anything about how to run a large, complicated system, with many components, but a President does. That’s why governors of states usually make better U.S. presidents than do Senators. They have executive experience.

This is a candidate who doesn’t trust the people to make their own decisions; sadly, she wants the state to step in so that people will learn to rely on government.

So, I ask you: does all this sound like a political moderate?

When Biden added Harris to his ticket, he showed his hand. There is now no question that he is catering to far-left progressives and the identity-politics crowd, who have effectively taken over his Democratic Party.
