To wear, or not to wear, that is the debate these days — and the public flashpoint.
With the coronavirus showing no signs of going away anytime soon, wearing a face mask has become a political hot point, even though the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention urges people to wear them.
As with most things these days, it breaks down to right and left, with those on the right taking a stand for personal freedom in deciding on whether to wear a mask or not, while the left calls for government mandates and lockstep compliance — except when rioting, of course.
Danielle Muscato, a raging liberal activist born as Dave Muscato, contributed to that debate Friday when she tweeted about an encounter at a Kroger in Louisville, Ky.
Par for the course, when things didn’t go exactly as Muscato wanted, the transgender activist tried to shame the store manager.
“I was just threatened w/assault at @kroger in Louisville because I asked another customer to wear a mask, and she refused. I reported it to a manager, who found her and talked to her, but refused to do anything more,” Muscato tweeted. “His name is Andy, and he does not want Twitter to know that.”

It would appear that anything short of dragging the offender out of the store by the scruff of the neck would have left Muscato unsatisfied — and liberals like to claim the fascists are on the right.
While some see wearing a mask as the right thing to do, an act of responsibility, there are many who push back.
President Trump has shown no interest in mandating face masks, but the president has come around to recommending them.
“I’m a believer in masks. I think masks are good,” Trump has said. “But I leave it up to the governors. Many of the governors are changing. They’re more mask — they like the concept of masks, but some of them don’t agree.”
Of course, Dr. Anthony Fauci, a member of the White House coronavirus task force, did his part in contributing to the controversy, sending mixed messages on wearing a face mask, recommending not to wear them in the early days of the pandemic, only to later flip on the issue.
Surgeon General Jerome Adams was also telling people to stop buying masks, saying in a Feb. 29 tweet that they are “NOT effective.”

As for Andy, the Kroger manager trying to make a living, social media rallied to his defense.
In fact, a GoFundMe page has been created to send the manager on a well-deserved vacation.
Launched by a woman known as “Target Tori,” the campaign is at $17,630 as of this writing, meaning Andy is going to get a nice little vacation out of this deal.
“Andy is a manager at Kroger. Like myself, he has been publicly shamed at his work. The gofundme that I received after my ordeal changed my life and afforded me an epic (and needed) vaca. Let’s do the same for Andy!” the campaign description states.

“Target Tori,” was harassed for not selling raging liberal journalist David Leavitt an $89 Oral-B Pro 5000 toothbrush for a penny, which is the price seen in a display set up in the store — in addition to trying to publicly shame the manager online, Leavitt actually called the police.
A GoFundMe account was set up for Tori, and brought in nearly $35,000 before it was shut down.
While Muscato is reveling in all the attention she has drawn — shame is a rare trait on the left — the activists got the deserved comeuppance for calling out Andy, as seen in the responses online: (*Language warning)
