Actor Randy Quaid took to Twitter to remark on his relationship with former 2020 presidential hopeful Marianne Williamson and a hot mic moment from last year.
“I’ve known Marianne for 50 years. Glad to see she’s finally waking up!” he tweeted.

The clip featured remarks from Williamson after an interview with Eric Bolling on Sinclair Broadcast Group’s America This Week.
“What does it say that Fox News is nicer to me than the lefties are? What does it say that the conservatives are nicer to me? Williamson said. “It’s such a bizarre world.”
“You know, I’m such a lefty. I mean, I’m a serious lefty, but they’re so… I didn’t think the left was as mean as the right, they are,” she would add.
For those on the right who have been paying attention, hatred from the intolerant left is a given, but it took delving into a presidential race for the spiritual leader to see it.
Quaid’s tweet drew a reply from the former candidate, asking what he meant by the remark.
Ask and ye shall receive, as Quaid laid it out for her — as colorful as you might expect.
“What it means is the Obama Biden Hillary bunch is deadly vicious. They destroy & cancel based on lies, defamation & false charges. You’re too honest to be one of them. You would never get behind a Deep State illegal witch hunt backed by Fake News. ❤️”

Williamson countered to say she was not “with” him on that assertion, prompting her friend to “come to the Love Trump party.”
Come to the Love Trump party, switch to left leaning republican. Take a big meeting of Love with 45. Nice to reconnect with you too.

The clip above was not the only time Williamson has commented on the hate on the left.
“I know this sounds naïve,” Williamson said during an interview last year with New Yorker editor David Remnick. “I didn’t think the left was so mean. I didn’t think the left lied like this. I thought the right did that, I thought we were better.”
What she doesn’t realize is that her remark not only exposes how dishonest the media are, but how powerful they are in shaping public opinion.
But don’t be mistaken that Williamson has come over from the dark side, as seen in a recent Newsweek column in support of Black Lives Matter, where she said “in order to heal fully, we need not only to recognize white privilege but also to pay reparations for slavery.”
Pointing out that forty-one of the 56 signers of the Declaration of Independence were slave owners, she suggested every generation of Americans “has lived out the contest between the better angels of our nature and the demons of racism, bigotry and oppression.”
“Race-based policies are different than reparations, in that reparations carry an inherent mea culpa: the acknowledgment on the part of a people that a harm was done, a debt was accrued and they are willing to pay it,” Williamson proffered.
