‘Let the mob run Democrat cities’: Gutfeld makes strong argument Dems should fix their own mayhem

Americans appear to be getting fed up with the mayhem in the city of Portland, Ore., where rioting is practically a daily occurrence.

The chaos in the street — which is all but sanctioned by the Democratic Party and their media allies, who have their eyes set on November and think the unrest works in their favor — is proving to be as contagious as the virus imported from China, as other cities are beginning to experience further unrest.

The key being that these are Democrat-run cites, and Fox News host Greg Gutfeld is suggesting the clean up their own mess.

“As we near the 60th day of rioting in Portland, we’re told by the media not to believe the things we actually see,” he said to open “The Greg Gutfeld Show.”

Gutfeld cued up a clip of CNN reporter Brian Stelter declaring that the situation in Portland is being made up on Fox News like a “raging fire out of control and that is a gross exaggeration.”

(Such shameless advocacy passes for journalism on the anti-Trump network.)

The nightly violence is described as “peaceful protesting” by the likes of Stelter and his liberal media cabal, as Gutfeld noted.

“The Portland mob is what you get when you inject hysterical media narrative directly into undeveloped brains,” he said, before running a clip of radical Mayor Ted Wheeler trying to stand with the mob as they reject him.

After questioning why crimes are suddenly legal in a protest, Gutfeld suggested crime only gets worse when you give in to the protesters.

“It’s like you get free drugs to a junkie,” Gutfeld said. “Any attempt at communication is seen as weakness, which eggs on the mob.”

“So the question remains: What do you do now in the face of violence?” he asked. “The libs in the media want the feds to do nothing, even as city leaders do nothing too. Everyone thinks the best thing to do is nothing, except nothing in the face of crime will mean more crime.”

Noting that there’s a larger war going on, the Fox News host said “maybe we should let them win this battle.”

“Let the mob run Democratic cities, maybe then the businesses and citizens will speak up to save their city. Or maybe not,” Gutfeld proffered. “Let Portland be the first American city in history to be sacked by a roving band of angry teens if that’s what the voters there want.”

But the real issue is the biased liberal media, and Gutfeld buried them in concluding that they are responsible for the violence and bloodshed we now see.

Violence Acting Homeland Security Secretary Chad Wolf detained in a recent tweet.

“Meanwhile, the media will continue to dismiss these events from Portland’s mayhem to Chicago’s bloodshed as mere local problems,” Gutfeld explained. “Why? Could it be the press calls them local problems because calling them national problems forces the national media to do its job. It’s a glaring hypocrisy. One ugly moment of police brutality is a global issue, but two solid months of rioting? Local problem. A local problem is defined as a story the media doesn’t want you to see.”

“Meanwhile, shootings in Chicago continue to climb as other Democratic strongholds struggle to contain the lawlessness, and yet the media turns their cameras away from the carnage,” Gutfeld concluded. “Strange. In the old days, the press slogan was, ‘If it bleeds, it leads.’ That’s changed — perhaps because we figured out who’s more responsible for all this new bloodshed. It’s them.”
