Fox News host Jeanine Pirro caught the attention of President Donald Trump with her opening monologue this weekend.

The president retweeted a clip of the “Justice with Judge Jeanine” monologue, which stressed that Americans have 100 days to “save this country.”

“As you watched the attempted destruction of this great nation — yes, I said great nation — you probably felt like you were watching violence play out in a third world country,” Pirro said. “Well, I have got news for you. Elect the wrong person and it’s coming to your city.”

With the U.S. now 100 days away from voting, the Fox News host presented what she referred to as a “simple” question.

“Do you want someone to fight for the peaceful America you lived in, one that respects law and order,” she queried. “Or do you want to chart a different course for America and continue to descend into the depths of despair and darkness?”

Pirro also reminded viewers to look back to where their lives were one year ago, long before the Chinese virus that set everything back, before turning to presumptive 2020 Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden.

“The man who wants to run this country, who is watching the same videos that you are, calls these rioters and looters peaceful protesters,” she said, “asserting they have a First Amendment right to assemble.”

She went on to assure viewers that most of them “are anything but peaceful.”

“They are violent anarchists, criminals, arsonists, looters, haters,” Pirro continued. “Democrat Mayor Ted Wheeler of Portland, the site of almost 60 consecutive nights of shocking unrest and violence, stood proudly with the protesters — surrounded by his five security guards — announcing that federal law and the U.S. Constitution doesn’t apply in our city. He’s all good with the nonstop effort to destroy federal property and the violence toward officers protecting it.”

Pirro also noted that House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., referred to the federal agents as “stormtroopers, a hateful reference to Nazi Germany.”

She then reminded Democrats of U.S. code requiring Homeland Security to protect federal property.

“It also requires they enforce federal laws, carry firearms and make arrests without warrants for any offense against the United States,” she said. “The federal courthouse in Portland has been targeted by arsonists and vandals literally trying to break into it to burn it down.”

Pirro proceeded to lay out a case that dismantled the complaint many on the left have that the federal agents are carrying out a role reserved for local law enforcement — as she noted that local police “are incredibly frustrated because their hands are tied by this leftist mayor.”

Insisting it’s “unquestionably constitutional,” she said, “It’s an example of federal supremacy where the Constitution and federal laws generally take precedence over state laws and state constitutions. And dingbat mayors like Wheeler.”

In the face of growing violence in mostly Democrat-run cities, Pirro explained that there are joint task forces between local and federal agencies in American cities that have been in operation for decades to combat gangs, guns, terrorism and drug crimes.

“We didn’t need anyone’s permission to fight crime,” she concluded. “That Chicago’s Mayor Lori Lightfoot would resist such assistance for so long as people die proves she is more interested in politics than people.”
