Here come the conspiracy theories AGAIN …
During President Donald Trump’s coronavirus briefing Tuesday, a reporter chose to harangue him with a completely unrelated question about the recent arrest of deceased pedophile Jeffrey Epstein’s madam, Ghislaine Maxwell.
Just to be clear, she was arrested by HIS administration.
The president responded to the line of questioning by dismissing the matter. Why? The possibilities are numerous. Perhaps he didn’t want to involve himself personally in the matter and risk corrupting his administration’s case into her. Or perhaps he had other more pressing matters on his mind — like, say, the coronavirus pandemic.
“I don’t know. I haven’t really been following it too much. I just wish her well, frankly,” he pithily said of Maxwell’s arrest.
Listen:
JUST IN: Pres. Trump on Ghislaine Maxwell, longtime companion of infamous sex offender Jeffrey Epstein: “I just wish her well, frankly.”

Following this simple, brief question-and-answer, the entire left-wing universe blew up with conspiracy theories about how the president was going to pardon Maxwell.
Over at Politico, the left-wing magazine managed to allegedly find a prosecutor within the Trump administration who thinks his boss’s remark “reeks of the president indicating to her that he might reward her if she’ll stay silent about whatever she knows about him.” Of course, the prosecutor was anonymous.
“The president has nothing to say about a gun-toting madman who just murdered the son of a federal judge. But he takes time out of his press conference to send well wishes to a woman accused of trafficking teenager girls for sex,” the prosecutor told POLITICO.
Referring to Trump’s granting clemency to his former adviser Roger Stone, the prosecutor said: “That’s gross on its face, and in the aftermath of the Stone pardon, it reeks of the president indicating to her that he might reward her if she’ll stay silent about whatever she knows about him.”
The unfounded, ridiculous rumor quickly spread to blue checkmark Twitter accounts, with mainstream figures on the left eagerly embracing it as a legitimate possibility.
Look (*Language warning):
Will Dikcstain Donald Trump pardon the pimp Ghislaine Maxwell like he pardoned Rickety Roger Stone? He “wishes her well”. An alleged child sex trafficker who is in prison RIGHT NOW! It sounds like a pardon dangle to me https://t.co/Tqdd1dv6Rq
— Morgan Fairchild (@morgfair) July 22, 2020
Of course he did. He gonna pardon her if they don’t kill her first https://t.co/Ys9vyklFNf

Who else thinks Trump is sending a signal to Ghislane Maxwel, that he’ll pardon her if she doesn’t rat him out?#TrumpPresser https://t.co/vRwYPc9nWJ

Trump’s shockingly sympathetic remark today about child sex predator #Ghislane Maxwell–‘I wish her well’—was a feeble signal for her keep her mouth shut in exchange for a future pardon. But she’s smart enough to know that Trump won’t be around long enough to deliver. #snitches https://t.co/itRwx9GL2K

This is clearly a pardon dangle. No prior President would provide well wishes to someone up on the charges Ghislaine Maxwell is up on. And there’s this: pic.twitter.com/AdhISIPXKH

Ghislaine Maxwell got a ‘wish her well…whatever it is’ which sounds like don’t squeal on me and you’ll get a pardon
— Larry Murphy (@LarryMurphyJr) July 21, 2020
Saw a comment basically saying this is trumps open signal of “if you dont mention me ill say youve been treated unfairly and look at a pardon and if you do mention me you can rot on that prison”
— PJ Holden (@pauljholden) July 22, 2020
Trump hears “Do you think Ghislaine Maxwell is going to turn in powerful men?” He says: “I wish her well.” He means: She’s not going to turn on me…because I will never say anything to offend her and I can pardon her.

Count on a pardon. Count on it. Accompanied by a tweet proclaiming that she was treated “very unfairly.”
One set of rules for Trump cronies. Another set of rules for everyone else. #VoteBiden.

So, #Trump is wishing a sexual predator well?! Anyone want to bet she negotiates a pardon so she doesn’t name Trump and his ilk?!? I hate this man with every fiber of my being. A disgrace. A piece of garbage. #WokeAF

Remember, these are the same types of far-left people who’ve spent years snootily calling conservatives “right-wing nut jobs” and “deplorables,” even as they themselves have clung to some of the most bizarre conspiracy theories in American history.
For instance, many of the figures above (if not all) were (and still may be) supporters of the Russian collusion delusion hoax and conspiracy theory.
As for Maxwell, there is another possibility that might explain the president’s well wishes. The fact is that after Epstein’s arrest, he suddenly died — allegedly from suicide, though some have speculated that he was murdered.
Either way, some believe it’s possible the president had simply been saying — surreptitiously, mind you — that he hopes Maxwell also doesn’t wind up dead.
with all the talk about her being killed, I kinda took his comment to be a reference to her not being suicided like Epstein. I could be wrong.
— Luke van Loenen (@luke_sw2) July 22, 2020
The President can’t say I wish for her to stay alive or I hope she isn’t suicided by persons while guards are napping and cameras aren’t working. He wished her well..ness.
— Todd Somers (@ToddSomers2) July 21, 2020
You’d rather her dead and unable to expose all the other paedophiles, as much as I digest her I wish her well so that she can be made to take down all the other bastards
— shadesoffson (@joeblog88334000) July 22, 2020
You know there’s a chance she’ll be killed. Do you wish her murdered or do you wish her well? I wish her well & hope she makes it to trial & sings like a bird.
— LovesAmerica (@LovesAmerica5) July 22, 2020
This theory actually makes sense, for if Maxwell winds up dead, it’ll rob her and Epstein’s alleged victims of the justice they desperately seek.
Like one of their former victims, Virginia Roberts Giuffre, said last week to CBS News, “It would have been great to look at him in court and say you hurt me, you took away my innocence, you took away my youth, but she took that away from us too. I’m really hoping we get to do this with Ghislaine.”
So is the president, it would appear.
