Critics shamelessly accuse Trump of echoing George Floyd for describing Biden on the ground crying for his mommy

The perpetually aggrieved Black Lives Matter cabal wasted no time exploiting remarks from President Trump on “Fox News Sunday” about Joe Biden being able to sit through an interview similar to the one he endured.

The president was explaining why the country will not elect Biden over him.

“He’s shot, he’s mentally shot,” Trump said, noting that as president he makes 4-5 speeches a day and is interviewed by the “worst killers who hate my guts.”

“There’s nothing they can ask me that I won’t give a proper answer to,” he said. “Let Biden sit through an interview like this, he will be on the ground crying for mommy. He’ll say, ‘Mommy, mommy, please take me home.’”

“When Wallace said they have asked Biden for an interview, Trump shot back, “He can’t do an interview. He’s incompetent.”

You do have to give Fox News host Chris Wallace a little credit, as he didn’t waste any energy trying to disguise his set-up questions while interviewing Trump.

In one such question during the interview, Wallace flat out asked Trump, “Is Joe Biden senile?”

(Unbeknownst to Wallace, perhaps, is that the audacious inquiry may say more about the perception of the presumptive 2020 Democratic presidential nominee than about the president’s state of mind.)

Proceeding with some caution, Trump made his point that Biden in “not competent.”

“I don’t want to say that, I say he’s not competent to be president,” Trump said. “To be president, you have to be sharp and tough and so many other things. He doesn’t even come out of his basement.”

The president said Biden’s people think they’re running a great campaign, adding that many of the responses to his actions seen online are not from Biden, but some “young guys” writing on the former vice president’s behalf.

“He didn’t say it,” Trump said. “Joe doesn’t know he’s alive, okay? He doesn’t know he’s alive. Do the American people want that?”

He went on to tout the economic success of his administration “until we got hit with the China virus,” saying that in closing things down “millions of lives” were saved. The president then talked about reopening efforts, job numbers and getting children back in school.

“The Democrats are purposely keeping their schools closed, keeping their states closed,” Trump said. “I called Michigan — I want to have a big rally in Michigan. You know we are not allowed to have a rally in Michigan? Do you know we’re not allowed to have a rally in Minnesota? Do you know we’re not allowed to have a rally in Nevada? We’re not allowed to have rallies in these Democrat run states.”

Wallace countered to say that some people would say that’s a health risk, citing that there were “some issues” after Trump’s June rally in Tulsa.

The media ran with reports of a surge in coronavirus in the days following the rally, even as they claim that hundreds of thousands of Black Lives Matter protesters had no impact on the surge now taking place. A surge expected as reopening efforts take hold.

In addition, South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem said just a few days ago that her state saw no surge after President Trump’s Fourth of July event there.

After getting Trump’s take on Biden’s state of mind, he then rolls out a Fox News poll showing that more people question Trump’s mental well being than Biden’s — recent poll results from the network have to leave viewers wondering who the heck are they surveying.

“Well I tell you what, let’s take a test. Let’s take a test right now,” Trump replied. “Let’s go down, Joe and I, and will take a test. Let him take the same that I took.”

Wallace interjected to dismiss the test Trump spoke of — which makes for an even more compelling case to let Biden take it.

“I took the test when I heard you passed it. It’s not the hardest test,” he said, mocking a picture of an elephant in the test.

Calling that a misrepresentation, the president protested.

And while they went back and forth about the questions and just how hard they are, Trump summed things up well when he concluded,  “I guarantee you that Joe Biden cannot answer those questions. I answered all 35 questions correctly.”

“So let’s have Biden take the test. Simple enough.”

As for Trump’s remark about Biden crying for his mommy, shameless zealots on the left tried to tie that to the death of George Floyd, who reportedly cried out for his dead mother in his final moments.
