China chum Joe Biden vows to rejoin WHO on first day as president if elected

Presumptive Democrat presidential nominee Joe Biden vowed Tuesday that if he wins the upcoming 2020 general election, he’ll rejoin the corrupt World Health Organization.

“Americans are safer when America is engaged in strengthening global health. On my first day as President, I will rejoin the @WHO and restore our leadership on the world stage,” he tweeted.

Look:

He issued the tweet in response to confirmation from a senior administration official that the White House has formally submitted a withdrawal request to the WHO.

“The U.S. has submitted its withdrawal notification to the United Nations secretary-general, the official said. Withdrawal requires a year’s notice, so it will not go into effect until July 6, 2021, raising the possibility the decision could be reversed,” The Hill reported.

It won’t be a “possibility” if Biden wins the 2020 race — it’ll be reality. One based on the presumptive nominee’s refusal to acknowledge the WHO’s corruption and, more importantly, China’s role in that corruption.

What remains unclear is the motivation behind this refusal. Is it that, like other far-left zealots, Biden believes the WHO is a genuinely credible organization? Or is it rather that he’s simply choosing to continue a longtime pattern of appeasing China?

To hear the former VP tell it, China isn’t even a threat — despite evidence making it clear that China is in fact the United States’ greatest geopolitical threat.

“China is going to eat our lunch? Come on, man. … I mean, you know, they’re not bad folks, folks. But guess what? They’re not competition for us,” Biden dismissively said during a campaign stop in Iowa last summer.

Listen:

Writing for The Hill recently, conservative commentator Katie Pavlich noted that “Biden’s position on China is dangerous and not based in reality,” especially when you factor in its role in allowing the coronavirus to devastate the world.

But this isn’t just some “right-wing” talking point. It’s an assertion shared by a majority of the country.

“According to recent Harris polling, 77 percent of Americans believe China, led and controlled by the CCP, is responsible for unleashing the disease on the world,” Pavlich wrote.

“The CCP is being held responsible for the health and economic consequences of the virus. Further, 54 percent of Americans want paid reparations from the country. Given Biden’s record, this spells trouble for him in November.”

Biden’s record indeed, for his record strongly suggests that he’s always viewed China as a business partner, not a foe.

While reporting last year on how Biden’s son Hunter had suddenly acquired a high-paying job in Ukraine during the then-VP’s trip to the nation in 2014, ABC News’ Tom Llamas revealed that the same thing “also happened in China.”

“This video shows Chinese diplomats greeting Vice President Biden as he arrived in Beijing in December of 2013. Right by his side, his son Hunter. Less than two weeks later, Hunter’s firm had new business creating an investment firm in China, involving the government-controlled Bank of China, with reports they hoped to raise $1.5 billion,” he reported.

The New York Post has further information on Hunter’s China dealings.

“The businesses of Hunter Biden and his partners created a series of LLCs involved in multibillion-dollar private equity deals with companies owned by the Chinese government,” the Post reported last year.

“The centerpiece of these deals is Rosemont Seneca Partners, an investment firm controlled by Hunter Biden and his associates: Chris Heinz, who is John Kerry’s stepson, and Heinz’s longtime associate Devon Archer. The trio founded Rosemont Seneca in 2009 and quickly began making deals through a series of overlapping entities under the Rosemont name.”

All of this ties back to the WHO because the WHO and China go together like love and marriage (as do Hunter and China). Throughout the entire coronavirus pandemic, the WHO has repeatedly covered up for China to the point that even Japanese Deputy Prime Minister Taro Aso, who’s certainly no “right-wing” American, felt compelled to comment.

“People think the World Health Organization should change its name. It shouldn’t be called the WHO. It should be renamed the CHO [for Chinese Health Organization]. Early on, if the WHO had not insisted to the world that China had no pneumonia epidemic, then everybody would have taken precautions,” he said in April.

Meanwhile, Biden was busy at the time slamming the president for every action he took against China, including the implementation of a travel ban:

Speaking on Fox News’ “Fox & Friends” this Wednesday about Biden’s behavior and rhetoric, White House deputy press secretary Hogan Gidley accused the former VP of being more interested in protecting China than America.

“They’re the bad actors here. This was created, developed and came from China. Everyone now knows that and Joe Biden continues to show his true colors here. He’d rather protect China than America,” he said.
