Social media posts from a co-founder of the Black Lives Matter movement in Toronto have resurfaced in which she calls white people “subhuman” and describes them as having “recessive genetic defects.”
In a since-deleted post, Yusra Khogali tried to use genetics to justify the highly offensive and racist descriptors by referencing melatonin production to explain how whites are “defects.”
The old Facebook post has since gone viral after being shared on Twitter by scholar James Lindsay.
“A charming message from the head of BLM Toronto, who has been honored (a few years ago) by the city of Ontario for exemplary leadership,” he wrote in the message, which features a graphic of Khogali’s post.

Another post retweeted by a user simply going by the handle “Adam” includes a graphic depicting a Feb. 9, 2016, Twitter message by Khogali that says, “Plz Allah give me strength not to cuss/kill these white men and white folks out here today. Plz plz plz.”

“Whiteness is not humxness,” reads the statement. “in fact, white skin is sub-humxn,” Khogali wrote on Facebook — a post that has since been deleted, according to reports.
“White ppl are recessive genetic defects. this is factual,” the post later says. “white ppl need white supremacy as a mechanism to protect their survival as a people because all they can do is produce themselves. black ppl simply through their dominant genes can literally wipe out the white race if we had the power to.”
She goes on to note that whites have a “higher concentration of enzyme inhibitors” which decreases the production of melanin, important for several things including the formation of strong bones, vision, hearing, and intelligence.
After being knocked for her messages, Khogali excused them as her way of “calling for justice.”
“I am not a public official. I am not a police officer. The state does not entrust me with violent weaponry. I have never contributed to the mass targeting of a community. All I have done is used a turn of phrase, a rhetorical flourish, to voice my frustration and dared to be a person calling for justice,” she wrote in an op-ed for The Star in April 2016 after being criticized for her comments.

“Somehow a tweet I wrote out of anger months before our protest began has become a bigger media story than our protest’s many and profound accomplishments. The noise surrounding this tweet has also drowned out the discussion we sought to spark about the black lives of those who have died at the guns of police in this country,” she added.
In recent weeks, a BLM supporter has admitted to subscribing to Marxism — a political ideology that is substantially at odds with the free-market, self-governing philosophy of American republicanism.
“We are trained Marxists,” BLM founder Patrisse Cullors said in a 2015 video.

Another BLM supporter literally threatened to burn down a Jewish-centric section of New York City if officials did not cater to his demands.
“If this country doesn’t give us what we want, then we will burn down this system,” Hawk Newsome said during a Fox News interview.
“I said if this country doesn’t give us what we want, then we will burn down this system and replace it. I could be speaking figuratively. I could be speaking literally. It’s a matter of interpretation,” he continued.
