Known BLM activist claims he was ‘intentionally hit’ by Iowa governor’s SUV

While the left would have you believe that America is a rampantly racist nation, where people of color face wanton discrimination on a daily basis, it seems the rage mob has to manufacture offenses to keep the country engaged.

This cause to find offense has been undermined by disgraced actor Jussie Smollett and his hate crime hoax, and NASCAR driver Bubba Wallace and the so-called “noose” that turned out to be a garage door pull.

And it’s on that note that a known Black Lives Matter activist claimed he was hit by a vehicle carrying Iowa Gov. Kim Reynolds. Or, as a headline by The Hill said: “Vehicle carrying Iowa governor hits Black Lives Matter protester.”

Authorities say that Jaylen Cavil, an organizer with Des Moines Black Lives Matter, intentionally stepped in front of the vehicle’s path — he was not injured. The group has been protesting outside Reynolds’ office and attending events in hopes of pressuring her to sign an executive order restoring voting rights for convicted felons.

Watch video of the “collision” below:

Iowa State Patrol spokesperson Sgt. Alex Dinkla told The Hill that Cavil “intentionally stepped in front of the slowly moving vehicle” in Ackley, Iowa.

The vehicle was operated by a highway patrol member.

“As the vehicle began to turn away from the protester and onto the roadway, the demonstrator intentionally stepped in front of the slowly moving vehicle,” Dinkla said in a statement. “The demonstrator had little to no physical reaction to any contact he created and the vehicle then entered the roadway.”

The release said Cavil  “made no request for medical attention, and immediately began shouting obscenities at the responding personnel.”

The organizer is seen in a video below leading a group of almost entirely white liberal Black Lives Matter protesters:

He told the Des Moines Register that he was hoping Reynolds would stop to talk to them, and claimed the driver “intentionally hit me.”

You know, because rational dialogue is a trademark of the radical left.

Caution: Vulgar language.

“The SUV that Gov. Reynolds was driving in drove right up to me,” he said. “I was standing right in front of the car and I just stood there. I was like, ‘I’m going to stand here. Surely the driver of the governor is not going to hit me with her car. This is the governor, my governor, who’s supposed to be representing me. I’m sure that her car is not going to intentionally hit me.’ I was wrong.”

Cavil took to Twitter to share his angst.

“I’m physically okay. Just still shocked & trying to process the fact that the governor’s car intentionally hit me today,” he tweeted.

Roadkill was certainly not on the menu Monday, as Gov. Reynolds tweeted a photo of herself enjoying a brisket sandwich in the SUV.

On a positive note, Cavil may have learned that it’s not a good idea to step in front of moving vehicles.

At least, that seemed to be a prevailing thought online:
