With sports figures and celebrities embracing the Black Lives Matter movement, to include tweeting the appropriate hashtag, Americans have quickly forgotten that on July, 7, 2016, five Dallas police officers were killed by a gunman after a Black Lives Matter protest — that being just one such incident that occurred during the height of the movement’s initial explosion on the American scene.

Despite the violence, even Roger Goodell, the progressive commissioner of the NFL is spouting the left-wing mantra.

With an eye on November, the left is raging about “social justice,” and any deviance from the prescribed narrative is dealt with swiftly, as Fox News host Tucker Carlson saw Monday night’s show, when he drew the curtain to expose what the Black Lives Matter movement is really all about.

The left came after Carlson with a vengeance, though they were already upset because earlier in the show he called the Black Lives Matter riots the “Black Lives Matter riots.”

In discussing the quest by Democrats to dismantle police, he also used the idea of Black Lives Matter rioters having weapons and immunity from prosecution to paint a picture of the “partisan law enforcement” they seek.

Carlson took Republicans to task for being “too fearful” to engage on the left driving racial discord in America.

“They are too cynical, too fearful,” he opined. “They are going to opine like it’s not happening, repeat platitudes, read bumper stickers on the air, nod solemnly, and do nothing to protect the country.”

He then shared a video showing Democrats, led by Speaker Nancy Pelosi, “yield in submission to Black Lives Matter.”

“As the crowd swelled and the demand for total ideological conformity grew louder, this latest cultural revolution became a parody of itself, as they always do,” Carlson observed.

After drawing attention to a number of recent events to ask what is really going on, he assured viewers, “No matter what they tell you, it has very little to do with black lives.”

“If Democratic leaders cared about saving the lives of black people, and they should, they wouldn’t ignore the murder of thousands of young black men in their cities every year. They wouldn’t put abortion clinics in black neighborhoods,” Carlson insisted.

The Fox News host would proceed to talk about the larger movement at play on the left, though his critics would spin his words into an attack on black people.

“This may be a lot of things, this moment we are living through, but it is definitely not about black lives — and remember that when they come for you, and at this rate, they will,” he said. “Anyone who has ever been subjected to the rage of the mob knows the feeling. It’s like being swarmed by hornets. You cannot think clearly.”

“And the temptation is to panic, but you can’t panic,” Carlson continued. “You’ve got to keep your head and tell the truth. Tell the truth. If you show weakness of any kind, they will crush you.”

The truth being that, by and large, America is not a racist nation.

Truth is a defense no matter what they’re doing at this moment,” Carlson said. This moment will pass, remember that. When it does, we’ll look back at what we just saw in horror and disbelief.”

As for the left hyperventilating over Carlson’s monologue, twisting his words to mean something he did not say, behold:
