Leave it to pandering Democratic lawmakers in Washington to exploit the tension across America over the death of George Floyd, an unarmed black man, after a white Minneapolis police officer pinned him to the ground with a knee to his neck.
The ensuing protests and riots have been embraced by Democrats and their media enablers as the next “big thing” to take down President Trump, as they politicize yet another national crisis.
(The Russian collusion hoax failed, as did the partisan impeachment ruse. And while the opposition politicized the pandemic, certain that would do Trump in, he survived that too.)
Led by 80-year-old House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, who can still get on her knee with ease, a group of Democratic lawmakers performed for their media allies Monday by kneeling in the U.S. Capitol, at Emancipation Hall.
(And Trump was criticized for a photo op?)
The political theater included a nearly nine-minute moment of silence for Floyd — this representing the time the officer had his knee on the deceased man’s neck.

The stunt took place minutes before Democrats were to introduce a “sweeping police reform bill” that reportedly included “demilitarizing police.”
A late demand of left-wing protesters is to defund police, as the emasculation of law enforcement has now taken center stage.

The measure is a show bill that will surely be packed with a lot of goodies for Pelosi’s party, as most bills emerging from the Democrat-led House are — while it will pass in the House, the Republican-led Senate may look upon it with more discerning eyes.
The death of Floyd sparked protests against police brutality and systemic racism that have gone on for nearly two weeks, and have been marked by violent rioting, burning and looting.
A little-reported result is that at least 17 people have died as a result of the protests.

With an eye on November and great unease in the left about just how much support Trump has in the black community — some polling suggested it may be as high as 30% — the media has steadfastly run interference for protesters, while vilifying the president for trying to restore law and order.
Davis Limbaugh, the brother of talk radio titan Rush Limbaugh, hit the nail on the head in responding to the Pelosi-led performance.
“How could anyone, let alone the minority community, trust the sincerity of these pandering demagogues?” he tweeted.

Twitter has evolved into a toxic wasteland made worse by persistence censorship in the run-up to the November election, but the occasionally gem can still be uncovered.
Here’s a quick sampling of the responses:
The wide gulf between what Democrats kneel for and what Republicans kneel to shouldn't go overlooked. https://t.co/yQTK82iWE4

People forget most of the cities where the supposed ‘oppression’ exist are run by Democrats who are largely voted for by Blacks.

A moment of silence, right. Now they’ll be talking nonstop about the moment of silence they staged.

Ask them if they support defunding police.

The epitome of virtue signaling by a group of people who have done NOTHING to help solve this issue the entire time they’ve been in the very positions to do so.
