The far-left puppet masters who are trying to prop up Sleepy Joe Biden’s 2020 Democrat presidential campaign will soon select his running mate, the person who will actually run the federal government, Tucker Carlson has cautioned.
In a normal election year, the vice presidential choice makes news for a few days and then fades into irrelevancy. Not this time around, however, given Biden’s increasingly confused and incoherent demeanor during media interviews from his Delaware basement.
That’s what makes the VP pick so unusually meaningful. The VP choice is often designed to put an important state in the win column or give the ticket some so-called gravitas.
On Tucker Carlson Tonight, the host explained that a presidential candidate’s handlers usually look for blandness and obedience, but this year, identify politics is the primary consideration.
“A good vice president is a lot like a good waiter. He appears, takes orders and leaves. He does not talk too much. He does not express interesting opinions. When vice presidents say they ‘serve the president,’ they’re not being polite. They’re being literal. It’s a service job, but not this year.
“This year, Democrats have chosen a man who can’t manage the country, even if he does win. His aides know that, the candidate himself seems to know that, the whole country knows it. We don’t talk about it very much. Joe Biden’s decline is so depressing to watch, so embarrassing and sad, that most of the time the rest of us try to ignore it and pretend everything is fine.”

Carlson described the ex-state legislator and the failed candidate for Georgia governor “as the single least distinguished person ever to emerge from the Georgia state senate, Georgia state politics in general…Stacey Abrams knows or senses that Biden doesn’t really believe anything. He just does not want to be called a racist. That is his kryptonite. This turns out to be good news for Stacy Abrams. If it helps her get the job, she is more than happy to call Joe Biden a racist.”
“Stacey Abrams shares your concerns about not picking a woman of color, especially if that woman is her.”
Carlson observed that another potential choice, U.S. Sen. Kamala Harris of California, has already accused Biden of racism while she was still Biden’s rival for the 2020 nomination because of Biden’s opposition to busing earlier his career.
“Kamala Harris is so completely out of touch with American life that she imagines that somehow forced busing was wildly popular with African-Americans. It was not popular. It is not popular now. Why? Because busing was patronizing and destructive. It hurt everyone involved except for maybe the self-satisfied white liberals who designed it. Their kids went to private school but somehow, Kamala Harris didn’t know that. Say what you will about Stacey Abrams, she’s clearly a lot smarter than Kamala Harris is.”

Lockdown-loving, power-hungry Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer is another possibility, the official who “banned the sale of paint and carpet in response to a pandemic” and who denounced grassroots protesters who want to go back to work as racists.
Carlson identified New Mexico Gov. Michelle Grisham and Congresswoman Val Demings of Florida, an impeachment manager, as possibilities.
According to Carlson, Sen. Amy Klobuchar of Minnesota has no shot because, at times, she even appears not to “be a total extremist.”
