Unhealthy-looking health directors trend big and it’s not pretty

Both California and Pennsylvania boast left-wing health officials who themselves seem to be literally anything on Earth save for healthy.

Over in Los Angeles County, public health director Barbara Ferrer looks so unhealthy in some photos — though looks can admittedly be deceiving — that some suspect she may suffer from anorexia.

Look:

Why is Ferrer of any importance? Because she’s the same local official who suggested this Tuesday that lockdown restrictions in the county will remain active “for the next three months.”

She later backtracked and apologized “for the confusion I created yesterday when I indicated that we needed to continue with the health officer orders through the next few months. I had no intention of messaging that we weren’t changing our order to reflect our recovery journey.”

Yet when pressed about what sort of restrictions will therefore actually continue for the next three months, she refused to provide a clear answer.

Some other details have emerged about her, including claims she isn’t a real medical doctor, and reports that she’s been forcing everybody to wear masks.

Look:

Over in Pennsylvania, meanwhile, the state health secretary is Dr. Rachel Levine, a so-called “transgender woman” appointed to the post by Democrat Gov. Tom Wolf in 2017.

That a man who thinks he’s a woman would be appointed to serve as the secretary of anything related to health seems highly irrational. And in Levine’s case, he’s not just any “transgender woman” — he’s one who’s extra prissy about so-called gender pronouns.

“Pennsylvania’s Department of Health Secretary Dr. Rachel Levine, who is transgender, told a local radio host ‘don’t misgender me’ during a press call,” the Washington Examiner reported Thursday.

“Pittsburgh radio station host Marty Griffin called Levine ‘sir’ at least three times during the call Tuesday concerning the coronavirus. Levine corrected him after his follow-up question, saying, ‘Please don’t misgender me,’ and adding that it was ‘really insulting.'”

Except that according to biological science, there’s no such thing as “misgendering” …

Yet this alleged “misgendering” has received far more media attention than the fact that Levine reportedly pulled her own mother out of the state’s nursing homes when the coronavirus pandemic erupted.

“[H]er 95-year-old mother was transferred from a nursing home facilities into a hotel – as the state government was ordering those facilities to accept patients who had tested positive with the coronavirus,” according to reports.

“That state policy, issued on March 18, stipulated that elderly care facilities ‘must continue to accept new admissions and receive readmissions for current residents who have been discharged from the hospital who are stable,’ including residents who had contracted COVID-19. The policy was meant to “alleviate the increasing burden in the acute care settings.”

This same rule that Levine skirted to protect her own mother is now being blamed for the state’s exorbitant nurse home coronavirus death rate.

And then there’s Belgian minister of health Maggie DeBlock, a woman who, besides being caught picking her nose during a video conference, is objectively morbidly obese.

Look:

It’s not clear what room either Ferrer, Levine or DeBlock have to lecture anybody about health given the unaddressed health dilemmas seemingly plaguing their own lives.
