Japanese Deputy Prime Minister dubs WHO as Chinese Health Organization as he slams ‘cover-up’

The World Health Organization needs a name change STAT, according to Japan’s deputy prime minister.

Since the Chinese Communist Party is pulling its strings, the WHO should actually be called the China Health Organization, Taro Aso implied during a speech in his country’s parliament, where he referenced China’s failure to contain the virus when it first emerged in Wuhan.

Said Aso, “People think the World Health Organization should change its name. It shouldn’t be called the WHO. It should be renamed the CHO. Early on, if the WHO had not insisted to the world that China had no pneumonia epidemic, then everybody would have taken precautions.”

Taro Aso also assailed the moribund U.N. agency for excluding Taiwan as a member nation, even as Taiwan became a leader in fighting the virus, he added. The WHO reportedly considers Taiwan as part of greater China rather than an independent country.

In January, the WHO claimed that there was no evidence that coronavirus was subject to human-to-human transmission. Two months later, it sounded the alarm that COVID-19 was indeed a global pandemic.

The WHO stands accused of downplaying the infection to placate China.

In real-time, Taiwan gave early warning to the WHO that its initial assessment was incorrect.

Among many other activities, COVID-19 has forced the cancellation of the 2020 Olympics in Tokyo.

WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus is now under fire for hypocritically claiming that the world was slow to react to the coronavirus even though he previously praised China’s handling of the outbreak.

Japan’s deputy PM also leveled criticism at the agency’s former director, who was a Chinese national.

A petition active on Change.org calling for Tedros, Ethiopia’s health minister from 2005 to 2012, to step down from his WHO position has garnered nearly 700,000 signatures at this writing. The petition’s proponents faulted the organization for failing to be politically neutral and its boss for accepting at face value the very questionable infection statistics China provided.

Along with many other observers, Dr. Deborah Birx, who is one of President Trump’s principal advisers in this healthcare emergency, has suggested that China is under-reporting its Wuhan virus infection rate.

While both Republicans and Democrats stood by and globalist corporations gobbled up profits at the expense of American jobs, China has methodically extended its political, economic, and military tentacles all over the world.

This global pandemic has starkly revealed both the national security and economic security dangers inherent in the CCP’s ascendancy. For decades, Donald Trump warned about dependency on the Chinese supply chain through one-sided trade deals.
