CNN’s Chris Cuomo perpetuates debunked Trump ‘hoax’ claim as he describes coronavirus symptoms

It’s official: There’s nothing on Earth, including a potentially deadly infectious disease, that’s capable of stopping a left-wing propagandist from propagandizing

Take the case of CNN propagandist Chris Cuomo, who on Thursday announced that he’d been diagnosed with the coronavirus. FYI, unlike the liberals who celebrated Sen. Rand Paul’s coronavirus diagnosis, conservatives rushed to wish him well.

Regardless, less than 24 hours later on his daily CNN program, he delivered a closing statement from his home that contained a glaring piece of propaganda about President Donald Trump.

Listen, and keep your ears open for the propaganda (disable your adblocker if the video doesn’t appear):

Speaking about the devastating coronavirus symptoms he’s been experiencing, he said he wished he’d contracted the virus a month earlier.

I wish I would have had it then so I could have told you then this is no joke,” he said. “We are sleeping on something, and it is a mistake. And I would have had a different platform to jump on the president playing it as a hoax and playing politics with this.”

One of the reasons we keep going back to that time is because it’s so painful that we blew our best chance. That’s why we keep going back to it. Especially when the president’s inability to own it makes a journalist, makes a conscientious person suspect that he’d do the same thing again. You see what I’m saying?

No, actually …

Because the president never described the global coronavirus pandemic as a hoax. It’s a lie (or hoax, rather) that’s been debunked repeatedly. But because members of the left exist in an echo chamber devoid of outside input, it’s a lie that’ll apparently never stop propagating.

Either that or they do realize they’re telling a lie but just don’t care.

Speaking of which:

Lies, lies and more lies  …

Whenever the president had spoken of a “coronavirus hoax,” he’d made it clear he was talking specifically about the left’s undeniable politicization of this crisis. For instance, consider what he said during a South Carolina campaign rally on March 28th.

Democrats are politicizing the coronavirus. … One of my people came up to me and said, Mr. President, they tried to beat you on Russia, Russia, Russia — that didn’t work out too well. They couldn’t do it,” he said.

They tried the impeachment hoax. That was a perfect conversation. They tried anything. They tried it over and over again. They’ve been doing it since you got in. It’s all turning. They lost. And this is their new hoax.”

He continued by touting his administration’s early response to the coronavirus threat. However, this early response received limited coverage from members of the media, who at the time were too busy obsessing about his impeachment to care.

Speaking with economist Stephen Moore at the Conservative Political Action Committee earlier that Friday, White House Chief of Staff Mick Mulvaney described how the administration had begun pursuing prevention methods long before either congressional Democrats or their media allies began screeching about the virus.

“My first meeting with Congress, face-to-face, was probably six weeks ago on coronavirus. … We take the medical experts down, we put them in front of Congress five, six weeks ago. Five senators show up. Ten, fifteen members of the House of Representatives show up. We were way ahead [of the issue],” he said.

“Just who was asleep, right?” Moore responded.

“Several weeks ago, we put restrictions on travelers coming in from China. We were accused by some on the left of being racist for doing that. I’m not making that up. That was in the press. This was an anti-Asian policy that we’re doing this,” Mulvaney added.

Listen to his remarks below:

He further noted how these efforts were completely ignored by those in the media, including Cuomo.

“The last time we enforced a federal quarantine was 1969 for smallpox. We did it over a month ago in this administration in order to prevent a further outbreak in this country. We took extraordinary steps four or five weeks ago. Why didn’t you hear about it? What was still going on four or five weeks ago?” he continued.

Impeachment. And that’s all the press wanted to talk about. So while real news was happening, and we were dealing with it … the press was covering their hoax of the day because they thought it would bring down the president. The reason you’re seeing so much attention to it today is that they think this is what’s going to bring down the president. That’s what this is all about.”

THAT is the hoax. Or rather, it was the hoax. The new hoax is the lie that the president referred to the coronavirus threat as a hoax. In fact, it may just be the hoax of the year.
