After Pelosi says Trump is ‘fiddling,’ Chuck Todd asks Biden if there’s ‘blood on the president’s hands’

It’s not clear which is more egregious to the interests of the nation, the politicization of a national crisis by Democrats or their media enablers regurgitating the party line like sock puppets under the control of Speaker Nancy Pelosi.

NBC’s “Meet the Press” host Chuck Todd asked Democratic front-runner Joe Biden on Sunday if President Trump has blood on his hands “considering the slow response” to the coronavirus outbreak.

The claim of a “slow response” being a good example of how the media introduces a political narrative as the truth, regardless of the facts.

“Do you think there is blood on the president’s hands considering the slow response?” Todd then asked.

The question coming as the president is consumed with handling an unprecedented shut down of the U.S. economy, finding himself in uncharted waters in his efforts to help Americans hurting from the effects of this historic occurrence.

Hell, the question was so irresponsible that Biden himself pushed back.

“I think that’s a little too harsh,” Biden replied. “He should stop thinking out loud and start thinking deeply. He should start listening to the scientists before he speaks.”

Todd didn’t bother to push back based on the fact that Dr. Anthony Fauci, director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, has said Trump does indeed listen to the experts and follows their advice.

“The president has listened to what I have said and … what the other people on the task force have said,” Fauci said last week during an interview with WMAL radio in Washington, DC. “When I made recommendations, he has taken them. He’s never countered or overridden me.”

Somewhat remarkable, while talking about the coronavirus relief package passed last week by Congress, Biden would claim it’s not “the strong point of banks” to get small business loans “out the door.”

As for the charge of a slow response, the fact remains that on January 31, while the Democratic Party and their allies in the media were consumed with trying to impeach President Trump, he issued a ban on travel from China, as the communist nation was dealing with the early outbreak of coronavirus.

A ban that Biden would later suggest was driven by xenophobia.

In using the phrase “blood on his hands, Todd was reading directly from the pages of Speaker Pelosi’s talking points.

The California Democrat made a rare Sunday appearance on the talk shows, going on CNN to attack the commander in chief by claiming every death from the coronavirus is attributable to President Trump.

“The president, his denial at the beginning, was deadly,” she told CNN’s Jake Tapper.

Again, the assertion disregards his actions in January, not that Tapper was about to set the record straight.

“His delaying of getting equipment to where it is needed is deadly,” Pelosi would add.

The early offensive from the party about the lack of tests is now falling to the wayside as more tests become available, with Democrats now shifting to the alleged shortage of equipment in hard-hit areas.

This armchair quarterbacking amid a national emergency is geared toward harming the president’s reelection chances in November —  the needs of the American people be damned.
