As socialist Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., learned this week, life comes at you fast these days.
In the face of the coronavirus outbreak, Democrats have appointed themselves town criers to inform society and control the political narrative, and Ocasio-Cortez warned New Yorkers to stop crowding public places like restaurants.
This coming after she chastised people for not going to Chinese restaurants.
“To everyone in NYC but ESPECIALLY healthy people & people under 40 (bc from what I’m observing that’s who needs to hear this again): PLEASE stop crowding bars, restaurants, and public spaces right now. Eat your meals at home. If you are healthy, you could be spreading COVID,” AOC tweeted on Saturday.

Yet, on Tuesday the former bartender posted an Instagram Live session saying it was “straight-up racist to “stop patroning Chinese restaurants” amid the virus outbreak.
“Patroning” being a made-up word resulting from her butchering “patronizing” — this from the cabal that sees Trump supporters as “ten-toothed rubes.”
“Honestly, it sounds almost so silly to say,” Ocasio-Cortez said in the live video, “But there’s a lot of restaurants that are feeling the pain of racism, where people are literally not patroning Chinese restaurants, they’re not patroning Asian restaurants because of just straight-up racism around the coronavirus.”
Naturally, this contradiction prompted the obvious question, as seen below:
What about Chinese restaurants? Should I keep going to those to not appear “racist” to you?

In a follow-up tweet, AOC reminded people of the acceptable distance that can keep from their fellow man.
She tweeted: “What does ‘crowded’ mean? If you can’t stay 6ft away from other people, it’s too close. In general, when going outside try to stay at least 6 feet away from others as much as you possibly can.”
What does “crowded” mean?
If you can’t stay 6ft away from other people, it’s too close. In general, when going outside try to stay at least 6 feet away from others as much as you possibly can.

On that note, never underestimate the ingenuity of the human spirit when it comes to overcoming a crisis. Below is the perfect solution to “social distancing.”

The reaction to Ocasio-Cortez’s latest directive was not well received by social media users none too eager to take direction from a socialist.
Here’s a sampling of responses from Twitter:
didn’t you just tell us the other day to go get chinese food?

I just went to a crowded Red Robin and I’m 30.
It was delicious, and I took my sweet time eating my meal. Because this is America. And I’ll do what I want.
