Melania Trump responds to haters harassing her about latest White House project

(Melania Trump)

As the Great Recession raged around him in early 2009, then-newly inaugurated President Barack Hussein Obama used taxpayer resources to modify the White House tennis court so that it could be used as a half-court basketball arena.

In response, the left cheered (as usual). Even before he took office, in fact, the left-wing media were rejoicing, with The New York Times running a puff piece early that January celebrating the emergence of America’s first “ball hog in chief.”

Yet over a decade later, first lady Melania Trump now faces endless mockery, derision, harassment and hatred for her plans to use private donations to construct a new, upgraded tennis pavilion at the White House amid the coronavirus outbreak.

Watch for instance how members of the increasingly radical, deranged and hate-filled left responded when she tried last Thursday to share the latest news regarding her plans:

Hatred, hatred, hatred. It’s all these people seem to know.

Two days after her original post, the first lady responded to the hatred by encouraging her deranged, spiteful left-wing critics to pursue positivity for a change.

“I encourage everyone who chooses to be negative & question my work at the @WhiteHouse to take time and contribute something good & productive in their own communities. #BeBest,” she tweeted.

But once again, the same sorts of leftists who worshiped Barack Hussein Obama as an infallible king — despite his incessant taxpayer-funded vacations — rushed to their keyboards to lob pure, unrelenting hatred at the first lady.

Look (*Language warning):

As usual, the responses were full of misinformation.

First, “no cost has been disclosed for the project, which the White House says will be paid for with ‘private donations,” according to Town & Country magazine.

Second, #BeBest has been a success, particularly in regards to neonatal abstinence syndrome, a condition that the first lady has striven to educate the public about.

And FYI, it’s been a success despite hatred, derision, and protests from people upset over her trying to deliver some positive results for the world.

Last November, for instance, hundreds of Boston Medical Center employees complained/protested attempts by Trump to shine a spotlight on an innovative new program designed to help drug-addicted mothers and their neonatal abstinence syndrome-afflicted babies.

“As you may know, this is an issue I am very focused on. I hope today’s visit helps shine a light on programs like yours,” the first lady said during a BMC round table at the time about the hospital’s new Cuddling Assists in Lowering Maternal and Infant Stress (or CALM) program.

Learn more about the program below:

“As part of her visit, Trump met with families and infants getting support from the program, which has successfully treated infants and mothers since it was launched in 2016,” Boston University’s daily news portal, Boston Today, reported.

“It is my hope that what we discuss today will encourage others to replicate similar programs within their own communities,” Trump added during the roundtable.

For wanting to bring attention to this much-needed program, she faced this:

It seems like no matter how much positivity she tries to inject into the world, the left always reflectively responds with hatred. So much for “love trumps hate” …
