You’ll likely hear very little about them from the mainstream media, but on Wednesday four female former prison inmates were granted the opportunity to meet President Donald Trump and thank him for saving them from decades behind bars.
The four women — Tynice Nichole Hall, Crystal Munoz, Judith Negron, and Alice Marie Johnson — were escorted to the White House meeting by socialite Kim Kardashian, one of the key architects behind the president’s successful criminal justice reform efforts.
Because of limited media coverage, Kardashian chose to use her Twitter influence to report on the event herself, writing, “I didn’t hear much about it in the news so I wanted to share with you their stores!”
President Trump commuted the sentences of three really deserving women. I didn’t hear much about it in the news so I wanted to share with you their stores! I have the pleasure of spending the day with these women today along with @AliceMarieFree who helped to pick these women

Johnson, a 64-year-old great-grandmother, became a national sensation after the president granted her clemency in 2018 thanks to persuasion from Kardashian, who’d argued that her life sentence for cocaine trafficking was cruel and unjust.
Following her release from prison, Johnson began advocating on behalf of other inmates, including Hall, Munoz, and Negron, all three of whom were just granted clemency last month.

The media’s coverage of the meeting was scant and biased.
For instance, instead of talking about the stories of Hall, Munoz, Negron, and Johnson, Newsweek chose to trash Kardashian.
“Kim Kardashian-West Is Meeting With President Trump Today and Her Fans Aren’t All Happy About It,” a headline from the left-wing magazine reads.
To CNN’s credit, it ran a report that included the women’s names and one of Kardashian’s tweets. However, the network couldn’t resist trashing the president for relying on “star power and personal connections” to pursue acts of clemency.
“Rather than bolstering or merely relying on the Justice Department’s office of the pardon attorney, Trump has all but abandoned it — instead relying on recommendations of friends, acquaintances and celebrities,” the outlet reported.
“The visit also comes as Trump’s campaign has increasingly sought to capitalize politically on his criminal justice reform efforts, increasing outreach to black voters and running a moving Super Bowl advertisement that highlighted Trump’s decision to free Johnson from prison.”
Was all that really necessary?
Missing from these left-wing outlet’s reports were details about the three women who were just granted clemency last month. For info on that, the American people had to turn to Twitter.

Today seemed so surreal being with these three women who I advocated for!!! I was incarcerated with all them. I made a promise when I was granted clemency by @realDonaldTrump that I would never forget the ones who were left behind. #FIGHTINGFOROTHERS https://t.co/lDNHVxoeyk

TODAY @KimKardashian is helping formerly incarcerated women go from the jail house to the White House. Always blown away by @JessicaJackson, @EdyHaney & the @cut_50 & @REFORM crews. I hope @realDonaldTrump keeps granting clemencies & pardons to sisters like this. #FightDifferent https://t.co/6P02cCQMNN

The latter tweet was from left-wing CNN commentator Van Jones, who too has played an integral role in bringing criminal justice reform to America.
For his efforts, however, he’s been demonized by left-wing extremists as everything from an “Uncle Tom” to a “coon,” “sellout” and “disgrace.”
