Donna Brazile triggered by mention of ‘rigged’ Dem convention, tells RNC’s Ronna McDaniel to ‘go to hell!’

Viewers must be wondering just what target audience Fox News had in mind when making the call to hire former Democratic National Committee chairwoman Donna Brazile.

In an appearance Tuesday on “America’s Newsroom,” the Fox News contributor said Republican National Committee Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel can “go to hell” when asked to respond to McDaniels talking about the possibility of a brokered Democratic convention — the RNC chair was an earlier guest on the program.“It’s leading towards potentially a brokered convention, which will be rigged against Bernie if those superdelegates have their way on that second vote,” McDaniel said.

Keep in mind that the DNC had its fat thumb on the scale in favor of Hillary Clinton over Bernie Sanders in the 2016 primary, and Brazile became interim chairperson of the body after Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz, D-Fla., resigned her position on July 24, 2016.

“First of all, I want to talk to my Republicans: Stay the hell out of our race! Stay the hell out of our race!” Brazile said. “I get sick and tired, Ed and Sandra, of listening to Republicans tell me and the Democrats about our process.”

“First of all, they don’t have a process,” she continued. “They are canceling primaries. They have winner take all. They don’t have the kind of democracy that we see on the Democratic side, and for people to use Russian talking points to sow division among Americans, that is stupid. So Ronna, go to hell!”

When co-host Ed Henry responded to her rhetoric with an audible gasp, Brazile doubled down.

“No! Go to hell!” she reiterated. “I’m tired of it, Ed. We are not trying to prevent anyone from becoming the nominee. If you have the delegates and win, you win. This notion that somehow or another Democrats are out there trying to put hurdles or roadblocks before one candidate, that’s stupid. I know what’s going on. They are scared of Democrats coming together to defeat Donald Trump.”

Brazile said this in the face of Sen. Amy Klobuchar, D-Minn., and former mayor Pete Buttigieg dropping out of the Democratic primary ahead of Super Tuesday, aligning with former Vice President Joe Biden in what is widely seen as a concerted effort to stave off Sanders.

McDaniel responded in a tweet, “I’d be having a bad day too if my party was still hopelessly divided. Talk of a brokered convention and the DNC trying to stop Bernie obviously hit a little close to home.”

Charlie Kirk, the founder of Turning Point USA, responded to Brazile’s “unhinged,” profanity laced rant to ask a pertinent question about the double standard in play in American politics.

“If a Republican did this to a Democrat operative they would be yanked from air immediately,” Kirk tweeted. “Why is the left free to be as rude and vulgar as they want all the time?

Here’s a quick sampling of responses to Kirk from Twitter, to include multiple calls for Fox News to fire Brazile:
