Devin Nunes: House GOP ready to drop criminal referrals against ‘dirty cops’ behind Mueller probe

According to investigative reporter John Solomon, on Monday Rep. Devin Nunes said that his team is “going to be making criminal referrals on the Mueller dossier team.”

Solomon interviewed Nunes for a Just the News report and was told by the former chairman of the House Intelligence Committee that House Republicans have discovered evidence in recent documents released by the FBI that Mueller’s prosecutors apparently misled the courts and Congress.

The documents are witness reports known as 302s. “We’re now going through these 302s, and we’re going to be making criminal referrals on the Mueller dossier team, the people that put this Mueller report together,” Nunes said during a podcast interview a portion of which can be heard here …

The specific issue Nunes talked about was how Mueller’s people portrayed George Papadopoulos as being uncooperative or problematic in the probe’s efforts to locate key witness Joseph Mifsud.

The new FBI memos yield “our first evidence of the Mueller team lying to the court. It a lie. It’s a total lie,” said Nunes.

“I always assumed that Papadopolis probably was helpful. I mean, he’s kind of alluded to that, that he offered to be helpful, but we had never seen the actual 302s,” Nunes added.

Two weeks ago, Nunes appeared on Fox Business with host Lou Dobbs and forewarned that the corruption and deceit of the Mueller investigation to promote the fabricated Russia-collusion story was about to be revealed in stages.

He was at the time talking with Dobbs about the resignation of the Roger Stone prosecutors after they were called out by President Trump for their “miscarriage of justice” in recommending Stone be sentenced up to nine years in prison for getting “caught up in an investigation that was illegal, the Mueller Scam, and shouldn’t ever even have started? 13 Angry Democrats?”

“The lawyers that stepped aside today who made the seven-to-nine-year recommendation — we believe that this is not going to be the only example,” Nunes told Dobbs. “There’s other examples of things they did during the Mueller investigation that the American people will be very interested to learn in the coming weeks, as we start to un-peel the onion of what the Mueller team was really doing.”

“Roger Stone should have never been investigated in the first place, because the dirty cops knew [beforehand] … that there was no collusion between the Russians and the Trump campaign,” Nunes said. “So this was a bogus investigation from the beginning.”

Nunes is the top Republican on the House Intelligence Committee. According to Solomon …

He previously made eight criminal referrals last year against witnesses he believed were less than forthcoming during his committee’s investigation. But Nunes’ next referrals would be the first to target the Mueller team, and could force the Justice Department to investigate the special counsel team’s members or review the accuracy of Mueller’s final report.

The congressman said he hopes John Durham, the U.S. Attorney in Connecticut named by Attorney General Barr to investigate the Russia investigators, will be able to focus on Mueller’s team in addition to the FBI’s top dogs who initiated the Russia coup using opposition research from Hillary Clinton’s campaign.

“The only question that we don’t know is at what point did the Clinton dirty operation merge with the FBI?” said Nunes. “And it’s something only Durham can get to the bottom of.”
