President Trump caps banner week touting major wins, and a biting jab for ‘Nervous Nancy’

Just when you think the week couldn’t get any better for President Donald Trump, the job numbers came out Friday showing 225,000 jobs added.

The January’s jobs report easily beat expectations, adding nearly 75,000 more jobs than anticipated, CNBC reported.

But this was just icing on the cake to a week that saw the president acquitted by the U.S. Senate on two articles of impeachment drawn up by House Democrats.

There was also Tuesday night’s State of the Union address, where Trump gave a triumphant speech on the accomplishments of his administration while never mentioning the partisan attempt by Democrats to unseat him.

A speech some, like The Federalist’s Mollie Hemingway, called the best SOTU address ever.

So desperate was Speaker Nancy Pelosi to distract from that message, she dishonored the institution of the House and eschewed expected decorum by ripping up a copy of Trump’s speech before the American people.

There was another win Friday that Trump took to Twitter to tout, that being a federal appeals court in DC tossing a lawsuit by Congressional Democrats, who had sued the president for allegedly violating the Constitution’s emoluments clause — a clause which bars presidents from receiving money from foreign governments.

Goading Pelosi, the president tweeted: “Another win just in. Nervous Nancy Pelosi and the Democrats in Congress sued me, thrown out. This one unanimous, in the D.C. Circuit. Witch Hunt!”

In a unanimous ruling, a three-judge panel from the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit said individual members of Congress lack legal standing to sue the president on the claim.

Linking to the decision, Fox News host Laura Ingraham tweeted: “Trump wins emoluments case in DC Circuit. More teeth gnashing for the Left. Will he ever stop winning? ?”

In response to the Democratic party’s disaster in reporting the results of Monday’s Iowa caucuses, the actual total is still unknown, Trump also declared a victory there.

“The Democrat Party has given up on counting votes in Iowa,” the president tweeted. “Looks like it all got computer ‘fried.’ Nobody knows who the real winner is. Maybe it’s Sleepy Joe, but it’s not looking that way. They lost millions & millions of dollars, all for NOTHING. But I WON Iowa big!”

After taking days to report numbers, coming amid widespread complaints of errors and the questioning of the results, it appears former South Bend, Ind., Mayor Pete Buttigieg, 37, beat out self-avowed socialist Bernie Sanders by the thinnest of margins.

As for Pelosi ripping up the SOTU speech, Rep. Matt Gaetz, R-Fla., filed an ethics complaint against the speaker, suggesting that Pelosi may have violated House rules and even broken the law when she ripped her copy of the president’s speech on Tuesday.

It goes without saying that the resolution went nowhere in the Democrat-controlled House, but Trump effectively spiked the ball on Democrats when he summed up the response by saying that the party has “gone crazy.”

“Well, I thought it was a terrible thing when she ripped up the speech,” he told reporters. “First of all, it’s an official document, you’re not allowed to — it’s illegal what she did. She broke the law. I thought it was terrible. I thought it was very disrespectful to the chamber, to the country.”

“I think there’s a lot of evil on that side. They’ve gone crazy,” President Trump added.

If all of the above wasn’t enough, conservative actor James Woods made an explosive return to Twitter late Thursday after taking an extended “vacation,” picking up right up where he left off — to the thrill of tens of thousands of followers.

If it’s possible to sum up the week President Trump has had in a single tweet, the entry below would be a strong contender.

Here are a few more tweets highlighting the pretty amazing week the president has had:

And another big win for America, but has been buried under the many others:
