During her weekly press conference Thursday, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi tried defending her decision to rip up her copy of the SOTU address by kvetching about the president’s guests, accusing the president of being on drugs and claiming everything he said during the address had been a lie …
In the clip below, the speaker first defended her “dignified” premeditated tearing up of her copy of the SOTU address by complaining about the president’s guests.

“Now all presidents have guests. Constant guests? Now that was not a state of the union. That was his state of mind. We want a state of the union — where are we, where are going and the rest,” she said as she slurred her barely-coherent words.
“Not just let me just show you how many guests I can draw — and let me show how I can give a medal of honor. Give it in your own office! We don’t come in your own office and do congressional business. Why are you doing that here?”
During Tuesday’s address, the president presented renowned conservative radio show host Rush Limbaugh with a Presidential Medal of Freedom. The last-minute decision was reportedly spurred in part by Limbaugh’s announcement a day earlier that he’d been diagnosed with advanced lung cancer.
Trump also paid tribute to a number of other guests, including a 100-year-old war veteran, a now-reunited military family, a prematurely born baby and more. It’s not clear why his tributes to them upset Pelosi so much.
She continued her rant by seemingly acting as if Rep. John Lewis, who too was recently diagnosed with cancer, is more deserving of recognition than Limbaugh.
“Quite frankly, when he started talking about someone with stage four cancer … I don’t know which stage John Lewis’s cancer is at, but when he started talking about someone with cancer, we thought he was going to talk about John Lewis, a hero in our country,” she said.
To many, including the president, Limbaugh is also a hero.
After disrespecting the president’s guests, she then aimed her fury directly at President Donald Trump.
“I extended a hand of friendship of him to welcome him as the president of the United States to the people’s House,” she said. “And it was also an act of kindness because he looked to me like he was a little sedated. He looked that way last year too. But he didn’t want to shake hands.”
While it’s true that Pelosi briefly extended her hand to the president right before the SOTU address began Tuesday evening, it’s not been established as fact that Trump chose to ignore her. Some believe he simply didn’t see her hand.
Maintaining my position in the minority re: Trump “snubbing” Pelosi. He did NOT.
-he was already turning away when she extended her hand
-it was crazy loud atm (distracting)
-he did NOT shake Pence’s hand first, which is tradition
Ripping his speech, however, was intentional.

She waited for him to turn away before extending her hand. It was cooked up for the cameras along with ripping the speech. Imagine if Democrat leaders spent half as much time thinking of how to work with the president to improve the country as they do thinking of stunts for tv.

The other camera angle behind them confirms this. He didn’t see it. Had he shook VP’s hand first & ignored her, then he’s just as petty, but that’s not what happened. He gave the speech to her & turned his head immediately after.

As for her claim that the president looked “a little sedated,” it’s not clear whether she’s ever watched herself speak …
“That meant nothing to me,” Pelosi continued. “It had nothing to do with my tearing up. That came much later. I’m a speed reader. I just went right through that thing. So I knew what was coming when I saw the compilation of falsehoods.”
“So when I heard the first quarter of third, then I started to think there has to be something that clearly indicates to the American people that this is not the truth, and he has shredded the truth in his speech.”
Despite propaganda from Pelosi and her media allies, what the president said Tuesday about the booming economy was 100 percent accurate. Conversely, though she’ll face no scrutiny from the media, her remarks about Trump being “sedated” were demonstrably false:
Says the woman too busy drinking to take the VP phone call when Iran was shooting missiles at our Military bases?

Pelosi thinks Trump was on drugs during the SOTU and that it was a violation of our country to chant “four more years” during the #SOTU, but tearing up Trump’s speech at the end was totally appropriate…

Nancy Pelosi just said that President Trump “looked sedated” during his State of the Union
This is Democrats’ new strategy
If they can’t remove him from office, they make up wild conspiracies about his health & fitness to lead

Pelosi SOTU stunt and her nonsensical Thursday rant come amid reports that the Democrat Party’s favorability rating has cratered to a new low, whereas the Republican Party’s favorability rating has skyrocketed to a new high.
The public’s trust in the establishment media is also at a record low.
