All About Me AOC subs for Bernie at his rally and never mentions his name once!

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez spoke at an Iowa rally for Democrat presidential candidate Sen. Bernie Sanders on Friday reportedly without uttering the candidate’s name once. Not once.

“When Ocasio-Cortez got to the stage, however, she alluded to Sanders but didn’t mention his name once,” Fox News confirmed Saturday morning.

AOC spoke right after deranged, dictator-appeasing anti-Trump Hollywood filmmaker Michael Moore finished telling some sort of story about her.

“That story that he told is very true,” she said as she took the stage. “I was running for office — this was before my primary — and for some reason, Michael Moore’s team reached out to our volunteers and our movements for an interview and was like, ‘Hey, can we interview you?’ And I was like, ‘How do you even know that I’m out here?'”

“And I spent an afternoon just standing on a street corner … and we talked about the change that needed to be made, and at the time I was working at a restaurant, and it just seemed so crazy.

Assuming the live-stream is still available on Sanders’ YouTube page, listen to her self-absorbed rally speech below:

“But I think that when we decide to let go of our fear and lean into our dreams, we’ll realize that we can accomplish so much more than we ever thought,” she added.

Her desired “accomplishments” include abolishing the Department of Homeland Security, shutting down illegal alien detention facilities, abolishing prisons, eliminating the existence of billionaires and doing away with fossil fuel energy, nuclear energy, combustion-engine vehicles, air travel, meat consumption, etc.

The only accomplishment she’s actually achieved is seeing “every Republican on record voting against impeachment.”

“I want to see every Republican go on the record and knowingly vote against impeachment of this president knowing his corruption, having it on the record … because this is outrageous to protect the amount of lawlessness,” she said last September.

Three months later, every House Republican and four House Democrats voted against House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s historic vote to impeach President Donald Trump.

Congratulations, AOC …

She continued her “me, me, me” spiel at Sanders’ rally Friday by talking about her travel itinerary.

“I just got off the plane from New York just a few hours ago, so I spent this morning in the Bronx, and I’m ending it in Iowa,” she said, echoing former President Barack Hussein Obama’s notorious habit of referencing himself. “And last night, I held a town hall in the Bronx on Medicare-for-All.”

“There were a lot of medical students there, there were a lot of people in my community there. And I told this story — it’s a pretty recent story — it’s a story about 18 months ago. I hadn’t gone to the doctor in a few years. I didn’t have health insurance.”

Subtracting eighteen months from Friday’s date takes one to July 2018, or roughly 53 months after enrollment for the Affordable Care Act’s health insurance marketplace began.

At the time that former President Barack Hussein Obama signed the ACA into law in 2010, he claimed — just like Sanders, AOC and other Democrats are now claiming vis-a-vis Medicare-for-All — that it’d resolve the American people’s healthcare woes.

Despite this claim clearly not having been true, AOC later went on to defend the failed healthcare law at Sanders’ rally Friday.

“As we are in this room today, the Trump administration is taking the ACA to court in order to gut some of the most transformative provision in that legislation,” she said.

“It may not have been single-payer, and it may not even have been a public option, but at least at that point we had coverage, we had the pre-existing conditions, and they’re taking that to court.”

She, in fact, did not have coverage. She wasn’t alone.

As early as 2013, long before Trump took office, reports began to emerge of Americans purposefully opting out of Obamacare, despite the then-tax penalty. These reports continued to emerge up until the penalty was repealed in late 2017:

Though AOC didn’t address it Friday, she’s also signaled that she may not be open to nuclear power.

“As part of that initiative, the Green New Deal calls for the entire country to be powered by renewable energy. While solar and wind energy are prominently featured, one power source is deliberately left out: nuclear,” Popular Mechanics noted at the time that the congresswoman’s “Green New Deal” was published last spring.

But a recent report from Wired magazine revealed that after Germany rejected nuclear power, carbon emissions spiked, meaning the elimination of nuclear power proved to be as much of a failed and unfruitful move as the implementation of Obamacare.

Researchers “found that nuclear power was mostly replaced with power from coal plants, which led to the release of an additional 36 million tons of carbon dioxide per year, or about a 5 percent increase in emissions,” the outlet noted.

“More distressingly, the researchers estimated that burning more coal led to local increases in particle pollution and sulfur dioxide and likely killed an additional 1,100 people per year from respiratory or cardiovascular illnesses.”
