Dem Sen Hirono calls quest to impeach Trump from day one ‘weird conspiracy,’ then there’s the footage…

There’s little question that Democrats were out to impeach President Trump from the beginning, long before his call with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, which is driving the impeachment trial.

Of course, there was the infamous Washington Post article run minutes after Trump was inaugurated declaring: “The campaign to impeach President Trump has begun.”

And who can forget — other than the liberal media — Rep. Rashida Tlaib, the radical left Muslim Democrat from Michigan, who proudly proclaimed more than two weeks earlier, “We’re going to go in and impeach the motherf*cker.”

This being before the president was even sworn into office.

But Democrats now up in arms over the phone call to the Ukrainian leader claim it’s not true that they wanted to impeach Trump all along.

Sen. Mazie Hirono, D-Hawaii, appeared Tuesday on MSNBC to say the claim is little more than a “weird conspiracy theory” being spread by the president’s people.

“What I found astounding was they’re still saying that we were out to get the president from day one, some sort of a weird conspiracy theory that I have to say, even [Supreme Court Justice Brett] Kavanaugh brought up,” Hirono said. “They really believe this stuff. I find it incredible.

Never mind that Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., was captured on video expressing an eagerness to impeach the president from office before the call on July 25, 2019, ever took place.

Back in September 2018, while walking in a Labor Day parade, Schumer was asked by someone in attendance, “When are you all going to impeach Trump?”

“The sooner the better,” Schumer replied, through a megaphone.

“We gotta get a few Republicans,” he would add. “We Democrats are on your side.”

When questioned at the time by Fox News about the remark, Schumer’s office claimed the senator misheard the question.

Schumer spokesman Matt House told Fox News: “After a number of questions along the parade route about the fate of President Trump’s Supreme Court nominee, the Senator believed he was being asked, ‘when will you defeat Trump,’ and responded, ‘the sooner the better,’ noting that we need Republicans to defeat the nomination. As he has said many times and continues to believe, talk of impeachment is premature, and Special Counsel Mueller’s investigation should be allowed to continue without any interference.”

Media Research Center’s Newsbusters site ran a video montage of a steady drumbeat about impeachment from the liberal media before the Ukrainian controversy.

Even the Democrats who were chosen as the House impeachment managers had publicly spoken about impeachment.

Three of the impeachment managers — Reps. Jerry Nadler of New York, Zoe Lofgren of California, and Sylvia Garcia of Texas — voted July 17, 2019, for what was the third impeachment resolution brought to the floor by Rep. Al Green, D-Texas, according to the Daily Wire.

Green’s resolution forced a procedural vote on articles of impeachment against the president for disparaging “the squad,” which is the group of four radical progressive Democratic freshmen — one of them being Tlaib.

The Daily Caller reported that six of the seven impeachment managers “supported the impeachment of President Donald Trump before the whistleblower complaint was filed.”

Here’s a quick sampling of responses to Hirono’s assertion from Twitter:
