Sanders staffers feel the heat, call police on Project Veritas journalist following damning video leaks

On Thursday, the journalists at Project Veritas released another video in their damning series from inside the Bernie Sanders 2020 presidential campaign, and while this one may not be as dramatic as supporters calling for gulags and burning cities, it is equally important.

The video begins with a Project Veritas journalist attempting to get a statement from Victoria Felder, identified in the video as a regional field director, who simply refuses to answer his questions.

“Victoria, is Senator Sanders going to dissolve the federal government if he’s elected president? Is he going to dissolve it and run the country with a cabinet, a small cabinet?”

After receiving no answer, he continued his questioning by asking about the infamous “gulag” comments, as well as inquiring as to whether Martin Weissgerber was going to remain employed by the campaign. Again, he received no comment. It was then that the video cuts to the journalist talking with a police officer.

The officer advised the journalist that the Sanders team said they would not be giving him any comment, then made a cryptic reference to harassment and stalking laws in South Carolina.

While it’s unclear whether the officer is speaking for himself or the Sanders campaign staffer who called him, he also stated: “It’s one of those things where, they wish he hadn’t said that, but they’re still standing by him.”

Just then, Martin Weissgerber walked by, and the journalist turned his attention to him, asking whether his desire to see the senator “dissolve the federal government” is “official Bernie Sanders campaign” or just his own “communist ideology.” Weissberger gets into a van and leaves the area.

This comes after a series of undercover videos from the self-dubbed “guerilla journalists” at Project Veritas, which caused such a stir that Sanders directors actually locked down their social media accounts.

BizPac Review’s Tom Tillison wrote:

Project Veritas released an explosive new video on Tuesday featuring some disturbing comments from Kyle Jurek, a Sanders campaign staffer working out of the Iowa office.

Vowing there will be violent repercussions and even death, Jurek called for U.S. cities to “burn” if President Donald Trump is reelected and as troubling as that may seem, a follow-up video out Wednesday may possibly be worse.

It should come as no surprise that those who wish for an authoritarian state would call the police in an attempt to protect themselves from journalists, but it is enough to make one wonder how staunchly they’re willing to defend their ideology if they can’t even answer simple questions.
