As a White House senior adviser, Ivanka Trump accompanied President Trump to the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland.
On Tuesday, Ivanka was randomly approached by CNN reporter Jim Acosta, who asked her about her father’s ongoing impeachment trial in the U.S. Senate.
The first daughter responded by not responding — in effect, Ivanka dissed the biased reporter by ignoring him completely.

Acosta tried to save face over the snub by saying in a tweet, “Ivanka Trump declines to comment to @CNN on her father’s impeachment trial as it gets underway.”

Donald Trump Jr, responsed to Acosta’s tweet to defend his sister, while slamming the journalist.
“Why should she give a comment to one of the most dishonest reporters in all of Washington?” Trump Jr. tweeted.

It must be tough working for CNN, as we just saw Sen. Martha McSally, R-Ariz., lash out at CNN senior correspondent Manu Raju, telling him, “You’re a liberal hack; I’m not talking to you.”
Taking to Twitter on Monday, Ivanka said she was going on the trip to promote the Pledge to America’s Workers, as well as “wage growth and job creation in the United States.”
She tweeted: “Headed to Davos to call on the world’s largest employers to sign our #PledgetoAmericasWorkers and join us in unleashing the potential of our people and accelerating the historic wave of opportunity, wage growth and job creation in the United States.”

The online response to the story suggests social media users have little sympathy for Acosta. Here’s a quick sampling of responses from Twitter:
Is Jim Acosta showing misogyny by harassing Ivanka Trump? How much lower can the media go? #MythMakingMedia
