President Donald Trump has a knack for sending the Democrats and their media allies over the edge, and did he ever accomplish that Monday by retweeting a photo.
In a photo that was clearly altered — expect a breaking report from the Washington Post on it being doctored — House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is depicted wearing a hijab while standing in front of the Iranian flag.
The California Democrat is joined by Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., who is sporting a turban-like head wrap.
The caption with the photo reads: “The corrupted Dems trying their best to come to the Ayatollah’s rescue. #NancyPelosiFakeNews.”

The retweet is likely a reflection of the frustration Trump feels as commander in chief when a political party works to undermine him as he takes on the serious business of encountering longtime foe Iran.
Lost in the mix is that the Iranian terrorist general killed by a U.S. airstrike had the blood of more than 600 Americans on his hands, and was said to be behind last week’s attack on the U.S. Embassy in Baghdad.
“When I see a Nancy Pelosi trying to defend this monster from Iran who’s killed so many people … I think that’s a very bad thing for this country,” Trump said from the White House last week. “It’s a losing argument, politically, too.”
With wide scale protests breaking out in Iran in response to a passenger jet being shot out of the sky in Tehran, killing 176 people, you could make the argument that Trump is being better received by citizens in the Persian Gulf country than by Democrats.
Protesters are angry over what they perceive as an initial cover-up on the cause of the crash, as Iran initially denied shooting down the plane — amid all the tension between Iran and the United States, Iranians are refusing to accept America as the enemy.
Pelosi went on ABC’ “This Week” on Sunday to shamefully downplay any notion of unity between Iranians and the United States, saying there were “different reasons why people are in the streets.”

Word has it, Democrats are considering adopting “Death to America” as their party platform at their next convention.

The President is sick and tired of Representatives trying to usurp his authority. He’s not alone.
