Judge Jeanine: ‘Sadistic beast’ Soleimani needed to be killed, world should be ‘thankful’ for Trump’s call

Fox News host Jeanine Pirro thanked President Donald Trump for the decision to kill Iranian Gen. Qassim Soleimani, head of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps’ elite Quds Force.

“Thank you, Mr. President,” Pirro said Saturday on Justice with Judge Jeanine. “The killing of Iran’s Revolutionary Guard Quds Force leader Qasem Soleimani needed to happen and President Donald Trump was the man to do it.”

“Everyone knew the blood of Americans was on his hands — responsible for the murder of more than 600 American service members and thousands of others whose blood and limbs were spilled and left on the sands of the Middle East,” she continued. “He implemented the explosive devices capable of piercing through our American armor. His ruthless reign of terror, both celebrated and legendary, against Americans, our allies and Muslims would have continued had this monster not been stopped.”

In the face of all the fear-mongering in the anti-Trump media about likely retaliation from a country that already hates us, Pirro pointed out that no American lives were at risk in taking out the Iranian commander in an airstrike.

“The president did not risk a single life in his effort to eliminate this sadistic beast who, according to all reports, as well as his history, was a clear and present danger to America,” she said.

Pirro said this shows the president means what he says and says what he means.

“He’s not interested in war. He is interested in America and protecting it, and in so doing he will take swift decisive and strategic action and take no prisoners along the way,” she said.

Action that not only Americans should be grateful for, but the entire world.

“Whether they’ll admit it or not, all Americans should be thankful,” Pirro said. “Our allies should be thankful. Indeed, the world should be thankful for the removal of the world’s most dangerous terrorist.”

Iran is the world’s leading state sponsor of terror and Soleimani was a principle player who was considered more dangerous than Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi or Osama bin Laden.

“Folks, this day has been 40 years in the making,” Judge Jeanine said, explaining that Iran “was determined to provoke us and indeed, was provoking us.”

She also stressed that in addition to trying diplomacy, Trump exercised restraint.

While it’s not getting any play in the media, the Washington Free Beacon’s Matthew Continetti detailed the antagonizing actions by Iran, culminating with the death of a U.S. contractor. He also noted the restraint Pirro spoke of:

“Last June, Iran’s fingerprints were all over two oil tankers that exploded in the Persian Gulf. Trump tightened the screws. Iran downed a U.S. drone. Trump called off a military strike at the last minute and responded indirectly, with more sanctions, cyber attacks, and additional troop deployments to the region. Last September a drone fleet launched by Iranian proxies in Yemen devastated the Aramco oil facility in Abqaiq, Saudi Arabia. Trump responded as he had to previous incidents: nonviolently.

“Iran slowly brought the region to a boil. First it hit boats, then drones, then the key infrastructure of a critical ally. On December 27 it went further. Members of the Kataib Hezbollah militia launched rockets at a U.S. installation near Kirkuk, Iraq. Four U.S. soldiers were wounded. An American contractor was killed.”
