The circuit court judge overseeing the paternity case involving former Vice President Joe Biden’s son Hunter has inexplicably recused himself from the case.
Two months ago, attorneys for Arkansas woman Lunden Alexis Roberts amended an ongoing child support lawsuit against Biden by filing a motion revealing that DNA testing had established that Hunter is indeed her baby daddy.
You would think that would have been the end of the suit, which Roberts filed in May, right? Not so with Hunter, reportedly a lifelong drug addict and womanizer whose morality ranks somewhere between that of Chucky the doll (or senator …) and former President Bill Clinton.
Now fast-forward to Tuesday morning, when Arkansas 16th Judicial Circuit Court Judge Don McSpadden filed a motion suddenly recusing himself from the case:
“I’ve attempted to reach him for further explanation but been unsuccessful. He hasn’t responded to other questions about the case,” Max Brantley of the Arkansas Times has confirmed.
“His brief notice said he was stepping off the case pursuant to the administrative plan of the 16th Judicial Circuit, which covers Cleburne, Fulton, Independence, Izard, and Stone counties.”
Despite the lack of clarity, theories have emerged that he recused himself from the case because it’s extended way beyond his scope.
“Judge McSpadden’s court is meant to only oversee cases regarding domestic relations, such as paternity, adoption and the ilk,” Law Enforcement Today notes.
Yet a hearing is scheduled for Jan. 7 to address demands by Roberts’ attorneys that Biden turn over his financial documents for the past five years. Moreover, the case has faced numerous “interference” from third parties.
Late last week a Florida-based private investigation firm, D&A Investigations, filed an “intervening party” motion on behalf of Roberts claiming to be in possession of evidence — namely Biden’s bank records — proving he’s committed “known felonies including fraud and counterfeiting.”
The records “provide the source and destination bank account numbers of Burisma Holdings Limited, PrivatBank, Bank of China, [Hunter Biden’s] business partners, Rosement Seneca Bohai,” and others, the company alleged, referring to the company where Biden served as a board member at the time his father was vice president in the Obama administration.
The firm claimed that those bank records “verify the counterfeiting scheme accumulating $156,073,944.24 with an average account value (monthly balance) in the amount of $6,785,823.66.”
Meanwhile, on Monday a man identified only as Joel Caplan of Jerusalem, Israel, filed his own motion accusing Biden of being involved in a Chinese stock swindle.
Read Caplan’s filing below:
The filing seems to suggest that Caplan’s allegations are directly related to D&A Investigations’ claims and Roberts’ demands to see Biden’s financial documents.
“Joel Caplan’s claim has a question of law and fact in common with Roberts vs. Biden, namely whether the disappearance of those companies and the vast sums of money they raised is related, correlated, or has any nexus with the 1.5 billion dollars that Mr. Robert Hunter Biden received or allegedly received from high level Chinese government officials and/or wealthy Chinese National investors,” it reads.
Dovetailing back to McSpadden’s recusal, Roberts appears to be happy about it.
“One of the clearest indicators of a judge’s integrity is when he or she recuses from a case,” her attorneys reportedly said in a statement. “It highlights the ethos and values that make the judiciary such a powerful, separate branch of government. Our client sincerely thanks Judge McSpadden for his time and attention to what has become a difficult and convoluted child support matter.”
While the going theory is that he recused himself because of the scope issue, some have theorized and speculated that he was somehow forced out by Biden.

7 months later…. now?…. Who is Judge Don McSpadden in Arkansas and his connection to the Bidens? Gene McVay Why wouldn’t he have recused himself from the ‘gitgo’? Too much heat for unethical power privilege. https://t.co/xhi8Wd6xKL

With Hunter Biden’s paternity suit over seven months old and prosecution demanding Burisma income be brought to light, judge suddenly recuses himself. Seems like this would create a hardship for a plaintiff of limited means.
Not suspicious at all. https://t.co/5uHU6vznlt

The judge has either A. Been afraid he would commit suicide B. Just got his retirement fully financed C. Had a skeleton that was about to fall out of a closet. its really doubtful the judge has recused because he is a virtuous champion of ethics.??https://t.co/pEfKPjKGBk

Don McSpadden, judge in Hunter Biden’s Arkansas paternity case, recuses himself abruptly
Very suspicious? Move. Threatened? https://t.co/m9gpl0O4ND

https://t.co/hM45a88Ecc When something doesn’t make sense there is some underhanded $#!t going on. The judge, all of a sudden, needs to recuse himself just when records are set to be revealed? What was the reasoning? And then Biden’s attorneys are thanking him for his work.

But this theory doesn’t really make sense considering that the plaintiff (as in the person who sued Biden) supports McSpadden’s recusal …
