Fox & Friends had a lot to say against hiring a nanny to care for 18-yr-old, but one host was swayed

The most spoiled zoomer has been found, ladies and gentlemen, and thank God almighty it ain’t an American!

It’s an 18-year-old Canadian girl who’s so spoiled that her parents reportedly posted an ad on the employment search engine Indeed this week for a part-time nanny to take care of her as she studies law — yes, law — at the University of Leeds in England. No joke!

While the ad appears to have been deleted by the new year, the New York Post was able to obtain a screenshot of it.

Look:

The ad was posted by the Skin Vitality Medical Clinic, which presumably is the parents’ employer?

“Nanny required to cook and clean for my 18yr old daughter who is going to University of Leeds in a demanding first year program- Law,” the poorly-written ad reads

“She has a driver who can pick up the groceries and drive her around but [needs] someone to ensure she eats well and lives without the stress of laundry, cleaning as her study schedule is very intense.”

That’s called college life …

“This applicant does not need to be a gourmet chef, simply someone who can ensure my daughter eats three healthy meals a day and the fridge is always full of healthy snacks, juice etc,” the stunning ad continues.

“She is Canadian and she needs someone to cook and clean for her and lives in a two bedroom apartment in Leeds City Centre with a full kitchen and it’s a lovely apartment. The hour requirement and rate can/will be tailored to the appropriate candidate.”

One has to wonder whether she’ll also need her diaper changed (with consent, of course) …

According to the ad, the candidate needs only one year of babysitting experience to apply. It’s unclear how experience babysitting children would apply to taking care of an 18-year-old …

Speaking about the ad Tuesday on “Fox & Friends,” the show’s hosts expressed shock.

Listen to the FNC discussion below:

“This is insane!” guest host Rachel Campos-Duffy said. “Listen, here’s my thing: Good parenting matters. Clearly there’s a problem here. This woman needs to let go. But also … one thing that can help you prevent this is having a lot of kids because you just can’t care that much.”

Campos-Duffy has nine children.

“My husband’s one of eleven,” she continued. “He came into our house knowing how to do his own laundry, he knew how to chop wood, he knew how to change a tire, he knew how to make a simple meal. My daughter, the oldest of nine, is in college and she knows how to do her laundry, she knows how to do her stuff.”

But Little Miss Law Student apparently doesn’t, and this bodes very badly for her future, because, believe it or not, being knowledgeable about real life is a must in real life. Shocking, isn’t it?

The reaction on social media has been more mixed than you’d expect. Some seemed to express resentment at how easy the 18-year-old seems to have it. Others meanwhile pointed out that she’ll pay the price in the long run by being unequipped for life.

But some came to the defense of the girl’s parents, arguing that it’s their money, any parent would want to make their children’s lives easier and law school is difficult.

However, the facts speak for themselves.

As noted by renowned psychiatrist Marcia Sirota, the founder of the Ruthless Compassion Institute, parents who spoil their teens fail “to instill proper values into their children, whose characters are in the process of developing.”

“It risks turning out a bunch of narcissistic, antisocial young adults who expect to laze about and have everything handed to them on a silver platter.”

In short, spoiling a zoomer is apt to turn the zoomer into a spoiled-rotten millennial, and that’s a big no-no!
