An influx of Muslim migrants and refugees into Europe has spawned a continuous hash of stabbings across the continent, but particularly so in Germany.
On Christmas Eve in the German town of Chemnitz, for instance, a group of possible migrants described only “as people from the Arab world” interrupted service for the “needy” by barging into the church and stabbing an employee.
“Drama on Christmas Eve in the parish of St. Nicolai in the Saxon town of Aue. The parish office had invited the needy to spend Christmas Eve together. In the end, there was a stabbing and a seriously injured community worker,” the German tabloid newspaper Bild reported, according to a Google translation.

“There was apparently a dispute during the giving in the parish office. A Syrian man (53) then had to leave the celebration.”
According to a local police spokesperson, shortly thereafter a group of “people from the Arab world” showed up at the parish and began an argument of some sort.
The argument concluded with an unidentified 34-year-old Iranian man being assaulted and a 51-year-old parish employee being stabbed.
“The [stabbed] man came to a clinic seriously injured,” Bild reported, adding that the Iranian only “suffered minor injuries.”
It’s not clear whether the Syrian was involved with what happened.
Overall, this is a fairly local, small-time story not really deserving of mainstream spotlight, right? By itself, yes. But compared alongside other stabbings, not so much.
“Police reported more than 4,100 knife-related crimes in 2018, compared to around 3,800 reported during 2017 — and only 400 in 2008,” The Gatestone Institute announced earlier this year. “Overall, during the past ten years, knife-related crimes in Germany have increased by more than 900% — from one a day to more than ten a day.”
In most cases, the institute noted, the media dismiss the stabbings as “isolated incidents” not connected with Germany’s overly lax immigration policies.
“German Chancellor Angela Merkel originally opened the borders to one million asylum-seekers in 2015,” award-winning veteran investigative reporter Sharyl Attkisson notes. “There was a backlash after refugees launched multiple attacks in Germany. An Afghan refugee injured five in an axe attack on a German train.”
“A Syrian refugee suicide bombing injured 15 outside a German music festival. Another Syrian refugee stabbed to death a woman and injured five. And a Tunisian refugee killed 12 by plowing a truck into a German Christmas market – all in 2016.”
While Germany has since rolled back some of its refugee initiatives, the aftereffects of Merkel’s bleeding-heart policies still reverberate throughout the nation.
The most famous of these aftereffects is what occurred in Chemnitz on Aug 26, 2018, when, during a festival celebrating the history’s founding, two asylum seekers reportedly stabbed to death Daniel Hillig, a 35-year-old German carpenter.
His death triggered mass protests by groups concerned about the rising violence from all the Muslim refugees and migrants who’d been let into the country:

The protesters were of course smeared by American and foreign media alike as “far-right” racists and troublemakers.
One year later in August of 2019, one of the suspects was finally sentenced.
“The Chemnitz state court found the Syrian man, identified only as Alaa S. in keeping with privacy laws, guilty of manslaughter and dangerous bodily harm for his role in the death of a German man, Daniel Hillig, last Aug. 26,” The New York Times reported.
“He was sentenced to nine years and six months in prison; prosecutors had sought a 10-year term. The trial was held in the city of Dresden for security reasons.”
So just to recap, the asylum seeker received less than 10 years for killing a German citizen …
The other suspect, an Iraqi asylum seeker known as Fahrad A., still remains at large.
As noted earlier, stabbings by Muslim migrants and refugees has also affected other countries as well, including the U.K., where a convicted terrorist killed two people in a stabbing rampage in London last month, and including The Netherlands, where a Palestinian refugee from Syria stabbed three people at random while shouting “Allahu Akbar” last year.
