Right-wing bomb-thrower Nick Fuentes is not backing down on his classless act of confronting conservative commentator Ben Shapiro while he was walking with his wife and children — Shapiro was holding one of his children at the time.
Fuentes went after critics who took exception to his antics, which took place in West Palm Beach, Fla., site of the Turning Point USA conference, essentially lumping them all into a category of Never Trumpers.
Critics that included former UN Ambassador Nikki Haley.
In a ploy intended to rally Trump supporters to his cause, Fuentes named several of the more contentious names, Michael Avenatti, Megyn Kelly, and Meghan McCain, in a tweet.
“It’s hilarious to see Michael Avenatti, Megyn Kelly, and Meghan McCain come out swinging in defense of Ben Shapiro. Yes these are four extremely trustworthy, honest people with lots of integrity who would never lie, great company for a real conservative to keep,” he said.
“It’s great to see the four most dishonest media hacks in contemporary politics put aside their differences and come together in defense of civility… yea that or maybe there’s an ulterior motive here. I see four never Trumpers that have an axe to grind with America First,” a follow-up tweet stated.

Fuentes, 21, insinuated the incident with Shapiro, who is Jewish, was incidental and that he was not “harassing his family.”
They’re now spinning this as “harassing his family.” He incidentally crossed the street corner that I was streaming at, he passed by unobstructed as I called out to him asking about his speech. Let’s stop with the calculated and dishonest outrage!

The confrontation was captured on video — of course — as Fuentes appeared to have his own cheering squad on hand outside a hotel as the Shapiro family walked by.
“Why did you give a 45-minute speech about me at Stanford, and you won’t even look in my direction?” Fuentes shouts at Shapiro in the video. “C’mon, I’m right here … ”
Shapiro never breaks stride as he carries a child and pushes a stroller, ignoring his antagonizer.

A woman is heard saying, “Hey, hey, hey, he’s with his kids!”
“Wow. Well, that’s our free speech warrior, everybody,” Fuentes says to those around him, before comparing Shapiro to the Palestinians by claiming he used his children as “human shields.”
The crass remark proved to be funny to his admirers — so popular was it that Fuentes repeated the comment in a tweet:

At the Stanford University speech, Shapiro called Fuentes a “garbage human being” whose views are “obviously white supremacist garbage,” according to The Hill — it does not appear that Shapiro mentioned him by name.
As noted above, Haley was among those who responded to Saturday’s video, tweeting that Fuentes took the wrong path in trying to confront Shapiro over his remarks.
“This is a perfect example of what NOT to do unless you just are trying to get attention. Confronting someone with their kids and family with cameras is wrong on every level. Do better next time. There are better ways to get your point across. This wasn’t it.”

Fuentes was quick to respond, sounding much like you’d expect a 21-year-old to sound, accusing Haley of being a “Never Trump neocon” who was “lecturing” him.
“Another lying, Never Trump, neocon lecturing me about decorum,” he tweeted. “Almost everything about you and what you stand for is a lesson in ‘what NOT to do’ for decent people. Pushing more deadly WARS in the Mid-East based on LIES is wrong on every level, actually—way worse than my words!”

In a series of tweets, Fuentes said that Haley “praises” Israel’s ‘restraint’ when the Jewish nation “kills dozens and dozens of Palestinians in a single day in Gaza,” and claimed Haley said that “Donald Trump inspired the Dylan Roof massacre in South Carolina.”
Fuentes attended the violent “Unite the Right” event in Charlottesville, Va., in 2017, that featured white nationalists and other alt-right groups.
The Washington Post reported earlier this year Fuentes “likened the Holocaust to a cookie-baking operation led by the Cookie Monster in a video monologue that implied he questions the death toll of 6 million Jews.”
“The math doesn’t seem to add up there,” Fuentes said on his internet show. “I don’t think you’d result in 6 million. Maybe 200 to 300 thousand cookies.”
Fuentes told the newspaper the Cookie Monster video was meant to be a “lampoon.”
“I’ve never denied the Holocaust,” he said.
As for the other responses mentioned, Kelly praised Shapiro for “handling himself beautifully despite a nasty provocation in front of his children.”
She did not mention Fuentes:

Avenatti, on the other hand, went directly at Fuentes, calling him a “PUNK” — in all caps:

McCain was equally critical, noting that Fuentes lay have traumatized Shapiro’s kids while noting that his very pregnant wife was with child:
