‘Thank you, Pelosi’! San Fran Dems called out when man spotted defecating in Safeway ‘aisle 3’

While House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., is consumed with impeaching President Donald Trump, back home in San Franciso, residents are forced to endure the most unimaginable things one can image.

Like homeless, drug-addicted people taking a dump in the aisle of a supermarket.

That’s according to a photo tweeted by journalist Deborah Kan, which depicted a man in an upright position appearing to go to the bathroom in an aisle in a grocery store.

Kan tagged Democratic mayor London Breed, and identified the store as a Safeway on Marina Blvd., in San Francisco. She also tagged a number of local media outlets.

“.@LondonBreed here’s a pic of a man on drugs taking a poo in aisle 10 of @Safeway Marina Sunday morning in #SF. Why is this okay?”

While there is nothing humorous about the incident, John Dennis, a Republican who is running to challenge Pelosi, tweeted “Cleanup in Aisle 3! Thank you Nancy Pelosi,” as he shared a photo of the man from a different angle.

He added: “I publicly warned in 2018 that if we let people violate our streets the homeless problem would get worse. The answer: Arrest, then offer a choice. Jail or rehab. Just got this photo. A homeless man defecating in our local Safeway.”

Public defecation in San Francisco is a well-known problem, with Democrats even forming a “Poop Patrol” in hopes of reducing calls to a city hotline, Business Insider reported in August.

Citing the San Francisco Chronicle, the phone rings about 65 times a day to report piles of human feces on streets and sidewalks, totaling 14,597 calls from January 1 to August 13.

Data from the San Francisco Department of Public Works shows reports of human feces sightings increased dramatically from a total of 5,547 in 2011 to 28,084 in 2018.

Mayor Breed has identified human feces on sidewalks as “a huge problem,” and said one solution is for non-profits in the city to better educate the homeless to “clean up after themselves,” according to NBC Bay Area.

All of which means there may have been no room on the sidewalks for the druggie in the grocery to take a dump, forcing him indoors — why he didn’t use the restroom in the store is unclear.

The bigger problem is the out of control homeless population in many Democrat-run cities, as liberals have yet to figure out the more you subsidize a certain behavior, the more you encourage it.

That and the lack of accountability the party endorses.

When pressed about plans for harsher penalties for those defecating on city streets, Breed told the NBC affiliate, “I didn’t express anything about a penalty.”

In a recent investigation, NBC Bay Area found more than 300 piles of feces along a 20-mile stretch of streets and sidewalks.

For what it’s worth, San Francisco spent $65 million on street cleaning last year and looks to increase that spending by nearly $13 million over the next two years.

If there was a common theme in the reactions to Kan’s tweet, it seemed to center on the notion that elections have consequences.
