House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has effectively declared herself the de facto ruler of the United States in a remarkable news conference Friday morning following her trip to Madrid — and invoked God’s name in doing so.
Having traveled to Spain with a bicameral Democratic congressional delegation to attend the 2019 COP25 Climate Change event, Pelosi declared Friday that the United States is still in the Paris Climate Accord — a feat only possible because the media is, for all intents and purposes, an extension of her party.
(Imagine the media’s reaction if a Republican speaker went to a foreign country and declared that a policy decision made by President Trump’s predecessor was effectively null and void.)
“Our message to that group there, is that even though the president has withdrawn from the Paris Accord, we’re still in,” Pelosi stated.
“We’re still in to protect our environment for our children and their future. We’re in because it’s a public health issue — clean air, clean water, food safety,” she continued. “That it’s an economic issue about good-paying green jobs in our economy and throughout the globe. It is a security issue in terms of natural disasters and the rest, robbing communities of habitat and natural resources which can — competition for such things can cause conflict.”
Pelosi, 79, continued her efforts of hiding behind religion and moral duty, as seen in her party’s partisan efforts to unseat a duly elected president.
“And it is a moral issue if you do as I believe as I do that this is God’s creation — we have a moral responsibility to be good stewards of it,” the speaker said. “But if you don’t even share that belief that we all agree that we have a moral responsibility to pass this planet on to future generations in a responsible way.
She also continued a habit of almost incoherent sentences and the slurring of words.
President Donald Trump announced on June 1, 2017, that the United States would be withdrawing from the climate change accord, but like everything Democrats do, there is a catch to Pelosi’s assertion.
The first day that the U.S. could officially withdraw was Nov. 4, 2019, which did occur, and there’s a one year waiting period for the withdrawal to be finalized — that means it won’t be official until Nov. 4, 2020, one day after the presidential election.
So, as the second U.S. government official in the presidential line of succession went before the world to effectively undermine the president of the United States, Pelosi is technically correct — not that this caveat is widely understood by the public.
Conservative radio host Buck Sexton nailed what we are seeing from Democrats in their desperate attempt to seize the moral high ground in impeaching Trump.
Sexton tweeted: “Congressional Democrats’ newfound reverence for the founders and the Constitution is so hilariously disingenuous and opportunistic, especially ‘prayerful’ Pelosi.”

When Pelosi first announced a formal impeachment inquiry, she proclaimed that it was a “very solemn and prayerful” moment.
GOP national spokesperson Elizabeth Harrington quickly dispelled any notions of that being true, as Democrats have been calling for Trump’s impeachment from the jump.
A solemn, prayerful affair?
Baloney!
The Democrats’ unhealthy compulsion over impeachment never stopped!pic.twitter.com/iO94NaxZqg

Pelosi also went all “Catholic” this week when asked by journalist James Rosen if she hated President Trump, claiming that the one-sided impeachment efforts were about the constitution.
Here’s a sampling of other responses from Twitter:
A bit strange if you ask me. The party that helped take prayer out of the schools, plus any reference to God and the 10 Commandments….are suddenly so prayerful when it comes to the impeachment of a President. Did something happen that I missed her? Did they all get religion ?

Pelosi evokes God and her “extensive” prayer life when convenient and for dramatic affect. When she confesses her support of abortion, she appears Godless with no prayerful hope. Quite a contrast.

Pelosi is the one acting like a monarch! She states Potus is guilty and is trying to interfere with election. States no facts stating otherwise but in fact there are no facts stating he is and there will not be because he is not. Pelosi is trying to dictate their desired outcome.

Does this mean they’ll stop trying to remove Thomas Jefferson’s name from buildings?

The dems took God off their platform in 2012, only to quickly put God back on because of a close race with Romney.
They were cowards back then and liars now. Remember: This is the party who mocks people who offer thoughts and prayers.
They’re Godless.

Has she asked any other Democrats about sticking religion into impeachment? Or is this as all top-driven as the Trump side? Either way, it’s the kind of constitutional violation one expects from the GOP. Please spare us your “Catholic faith” in a constitutional procedure.

Pelosi never knows moral responsibility

@SpeakerPelosi is cracking up. She believes in “science” not Creation.
