White House counselor Kellyanne Conway’s obnoxious, loudmouth husband, George Conway, is simply incapable of keeping his trap shut. Except this time, his antics awakened the wrath of President Donald Trump’s 2020 campaign manager, Brad Parscale.
Flashback to Wednesday afternoon. About two hours after Conway attacked first lady Melania Trump for having the apparent gall to defend her own 13-year-old son, he turned his attention back to President Donald Trump.
Apparently, a “Never Trump” Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy professor by the name of Daniel W. Drezner has a book coming out entitled, “Toddler in Chief: What Donald rump Teaches Us About The Modern Presidency.”
(He must have Trump confused with former President Barack Hussein Obama …)
Anyway. Late Wednesday afternoon, Drezner unveiled the cover of his upcoming book, and Conway liked it so much that he posted this:

In response, Parscale rushed to pummel him.
“I remember how irrelevant you were when I met you, how far you have come with hate! Soon you will be irrelevant again, can’t wait!” he tweeted.
“I remember you sitting at @KellyannePolls table waiting for attention like a lost puppy.#JustSayin, I really thought you were her body man.”
His point — one that’s been echoed by the president and his eldest son — is that Conway’s relevance exists solely because of his glass ceiling-shattering wife.

A guy who routinely & publicly embarrasses his wife by attacking her boss for the purpose of getting retweets and building his own brand is giving lectures on honor, integrity & decency. ?

As of around noon Thursday, Parscale’s tweet boasted 12,000 likes, 4,000 retweets and under 2,000 comments. Conway’s reply meanwhile boasted only 10,000 likes, 1,300 retweets, and 384 comments.

The problem with his rebuttal is that it’s a ‘he said, she said’ claim with no discernible evidence to verify it, and no witnesses besides Conway and his wife.
With Parscale’s claim, on the other hand, it appears to be a shared sentiment.
Case in point: During the House Intelligence Committee’s impeachment hearings last month, FNC’s Howard Kurtz suggested that the only reason mainstream left-wing establishment networks were interested in hearing Conway’s take on them was because of his relationship with the president’s counselor.
“Why is MSNBC having George Conway on in the first place [to talk about these hearings] and how is it that he’s not asked, ‘well, your wife, Kellyanne, she’s a senior White House official, what do you have to say about her position on the president?'” he said.
That said, the people who question Conway’s relevance numbers way beyond just two:

The users above dropped two very legitimate points.
One: Conway’s Twitter account does indeed lack a blue checkmark.
Two: Lately he’s been busy not only trashing the president and first lady but his own wife as well.
“According to three sources close to George, his relationship with Kellyanne has, not surprisingly, become increasingly distant as impeachment has gained steam,” Vanity Fair magazine reported last month.
“He tells people she’s in a cult,” one source, identified only as a “Republican who has spoken frequently with George,” said.
“It’s not going to get better until she’s cast out of the cult,” another unnamed individual close to Conway’s Trump-hating husband added.
“Sources say George loves Kellyanne and wants the marriage to survive,” Vanity Fair’s report continued. “He’s told people that if Kellyanne leaves the White House, they can make it work, a friend of George’s told me.”
“He’s going through a tough time,” the friend said.
Now just imagine what Kellyanne must be going through …
