Rush Limbaugh producer ‘Bo Snerdley’ launches new PAC and MAGA.BLACK to reach black conservatives

The producer, engineer and call screener for conservative radio’s legendary ‘The Rush Limbaugh Show’ is known and admired by an audience of millions as “Bo Snerdley,” but his name is James Golden and he’s making a big splash in the U.S. political landscape, outside of radio.

Golden has founded his own conservative political action committee, the New Journey PAC, to help Republican candidates going into the 2020 general election educate the public about conservatism and make a difference.

“In 2020 we will promote black conservatives who are running for elective office. We will also promote conservative Republicans in battleground states, who come under attack from the false racial narratives the left employs like clockwork,” he said in a statement to BizPac Review.

“Obviously, we support the reelection of President Trump, and will do all we can to message to minority communities around the country on his behalf. Our goal is victory in 2020.”

But reelecting Trump to office will require more than your typical fundraising. It’s going to require a massive education campaign focused on informing members of the public, particularly those in minority communities, about the realities of conservatism.

“Few Americans know the Republican Party is the Party of Lincoln, and what that means in its historical context. The Republican Party was born to fight slavery and to preserve a union of states which, combined, ushered in a fundamental shift in world power,” the PAC’s vision statement reads.

Thanks to liberal indoctrination, a startling number of Americans have an entirely backward view of both the Republican Party and its slavery-endorsing antithesis, the Democrat Party.

In his statement to BPR, Golden added that dismantling the left’s lies will also entail pushing back on the endless cacophony of false racial accusations it routinely uses to smear, demean and sometimes deplatform notable conservative figures.

“[W]e are going to stand ready to defend our conservative media figures, who also come under attack with the false racial narratives, and whose advertisers are threatened by organized leftists, intent on silencing their voices through racial intimidation,” he said.

Not only through the 2020 election but after as well,  he added.

“New Journey’s plan is to stay active during non-election cycles, to be a consistent voice of pushback to the left’s never-ending tactics, weaponizing race,” he said.

“But more importantly We eventually want to open physical locations in every blue city in America to be good neighbors, and a source of support beyond politics. We want to show with deeds, not words who conservatives really are – and dispel the negative myths the left has created over the last 50 years, which have largely gone unchallenged.”

He formed the Washington, D.C.-based PAC over the summer with Autry J. Pruitt, who serves as the CEO of both the PAC and MAGA.Black. Also launched by the duo, MAGA.BLACK is an online platform and community “for ALL conservatives” who are “fed up with the racial narratives that the left uses to paint conservatives as bigots and racists.”

According to Golden, the website was Pruitt’s idea.

“His idea was to establish a web and mobile destination, where all conservatives and other interested parties could come to share information, and content highlighting the amazing progress that black conservatives are making during this election cycle,” he said.

“We plan to provide content at MAGA.Black that you won’t find anywhere else and to build an online community that is inclusive, welcoming – and fun!”

While there’s obviously a focus on black outreach, the community’s key goal as listed at MAGA.Black is to “identify, recruit and support a new wave of conservatives, including blacks, Hispanics, women and others who, through intimidation by the Left, are reluctant to identify as conservative even though their values and lifestyles are conservative.”

In other words, if you’ve ever been shamed for being a conservative because you’re black, you’re Hispanic, you’re a woman, you’re a so-called “privileged” white male, whatever, then you qualify to be a member of the MAGA.Black community.

The official unveiling of Golden’s New Journey PAC and the MAGA Black community comes amid a flurry of polls showing support for Trump skyrocketing among minorities, particularly blacks.

Recent polls from Rasmussen, Emerson, and Marist found the president’s black approval rating to be, respectively, 34.5 percent, 34 percent, and 33 percent.

But with proud conservative activists such as Golden, Pruitt and a slew of others (Candace Owens, Kanye West, etc.) now actively raising money, campaigning and educating others on behalf of both the president and the conservative movement as a whole, the sky could potentially be the limit.
