Danielle Stella, a Republican congressional candidate running for Representative Ilhan Omar’s seat in Minnesota, found her “@2020mncongress” account permanently suspended by Twitter after issuing a tweet about potentially hanging Omar for treason.
As BizPac Review reported, a Florida court heard that Rep. Omar is a “Qatari asset” who had been recruited by a foreign government to pass along “sensitive information through intermediates to Iran.” It was this story that prompted Stella to tweet: “If it is proven @IlhanMN passed sensitive info to Iran, she should be tried for #treason and hanged.”

She then tweeted out a story about her original message, accompanied by a caption of what appears to be a body hanging from a gallows.

It was not long after this that both her official congressional and her personal accounts were shut down for violating Twitter standards.

While she had many critics, there were several people who stepped up to defend Stella. Their argument? She was simply calling for enforcing the what the federal code says the punishment would be in a situation like this.

I will gladly be a voice for Danielle Stella. Omar clearly demonstrates a “no love” for America. It must mean the people who voted for Omar doesn’t love America. I’ll twt for Stella! #KAG2020 https://t.co/52molwZgpR

I and millions of other twitter users think Danielle Stella is a patriot and should NOT be admonished for saying what all patriots feel.. Omar is the subversive America hater that is doing all she can to destroy the country-with the help of media like twitter

“My suspension for advocating for the enforcement of federal code proves Twitter will always side with and fight to protect terrorists, traitors, pedophiles and rapists,” Stella said in a comment to the Washington Times.
Unfortunately, this isn’t the first time that Stella has received bad press. She was arrested in June for allegedly committing a felony by stealing from stores including Target. According to reports, she stole $2,300 from Target and another $40 from a grocery store, though she denies the allegations.
She stood accused of lifting approximately 279 items from the store and was arrested after security personnel called the police to report the alleged theft.
It is unclear what direction Stella’s campaign will take following this permanent suspension, or if she will take to court to resolve this issue.
