President Donald Trump’s personal attorney Rudy Giuliani has stressed in a tweet that the controversial “insurance policy” he referenced during a discussion on Saturday morning with Fox News’ Ed Henry had nothing to do with President Donald Trump.
“The statement I’ve made several times of having an insurance policy, if thrown under bus, is sarcastic & relates to the files in my safe about the Biden Family’s 4 decade monetizing of his office,” he tweeted Saturday evening. “If I disappear, it will appear immediately along with my RICO chart.”

When asked by Henry earlier that morning whether he feared being thrown under the bus by the president or being hit with an indictment, he referenced this insurance policy.
“I’ve seen things written like he’s going to throw me under the bus,” he said. “When they say that, I say he isn’t, but I have insurance.”
“I have a very, very good relationship with him…and all of these comments which are totally insulting. I’ve seen things written like, ‘he’s going to throw me under the bus.’ When they say that I say he isn’t, but I have insurance.” pic.twitter.com/lhuwKb3IqD

Members of the left took this to mean he has “insurance” against the president. But in the tweet posted earlier that evening, he seemed to suggest the insurance is against former Vice President Joe Biden. Additional comments he made during the discussion earlier with Henry suggest he’s being 100 percent truthful.
Giuliani specifically stressed that the man truly guilty of committing bribery is Biden, aka the Democrat Party’s leading 2020 presidential candidate.
And as evidence, he cited the former VP’s own words.
(Source: Fox News)
“This case has been real simple from the day that Joe Biden confessed to committing bribery, back in January of 2018, and the Council on Foreign Relations didn’t note anything about it, although he said precisely what was attributed to President Trump a year and a half later,” the former New York City mayor said to FNC’s Ed Henry.
During one of the Council on Foreign Relations’ public events last year, Biden openly admitted that as VP, he’d once threatened to withhold $1 billion in aid to Ukraine unless government officials abided by his demands and removed a prosecutor whom he claimed was corrupt.
“I said, ‘you’re not getting the billion’ … I looked at them and said, ‘I’m leaving in six hours. If the prosecutor is not fired, you’re not getting the money.’ Well, son of a b****. He got fired. And they put in place someone who was solid at the time,” he admitted.
That prosecutor, Viktor Shokin, was forced out of office in 2016.
“The crime of bribery is offering something of value to a public official for official action,” Giuliani continued. “Here is what Joe Biden says he did: He offered him a one billion dollar loan guarantee, he threatened him with a one billion dollar loan guarantee, and … he got the president of the Ukraine to fire the prosecutor.”
And did so for reasons that remain suspect, as it turns out that Shokin had reportedly been investigating Burisma, a corruption-linked gas company that just so happened to have had the VP’s son, Hunter, on its executive board. Hmm.
Yet for reasons that remain unclear, the left-wing establishment has accepted this behavior as completely normal — and perhaps rightly so. Except that Trump is now facing impeachment hearings for having allegedly committed the exact same act.
“It’s the same thing, Ed,” Giuliani maintained. “Except for the double standard that we have, that’s corrupting us.”
In both cases, both men deny committing wrongdoing. The only real difference is that there’s no audio or video evidence of the president ever admitting to purposefully withholding or threatening to withhold aid to Ukraine unless it abided by his orders.
In Biden’s case, however, the evidence is clear, though he too has maintained his innocence.
“The former vice president, you know, has said it wasn’t bribery, that the prosecutor he wanted fired was not investigating corruption — that’s his case,” Henry noted.
That might be true, though it still wouldn’t explain why the establishment left is hellbent on punishing Trump for allegedly committing bribery (or quid pro quo, as it’s more formally known), but has no qualms about Biden’s proven bribery.
What’s known is that the authoritarianism the former VP once displayed in Ukraine still seeps through his blood like a malignant, cancerous blood cell.
As the FNC discussion continued, Henry noted that Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Lindsey Graham has begun investigating Biden’s son and his interactions with Burisma. The host then played a disturbing clip of the former VP essentially threatening the Senate leader.

“Lindsey is about to go down in a way that I think he’s going to regret his whole life,” Biden said in an interview last week with CNN.
The remarks seem awfully mafia-like, Giuliani said after Henry played the clip above.
“Sounds like a poor imitation of ‘The Godfather,'” he added. “This is the guy who sent out a decree that they should keep me off television. Every other week, he wants to get into a fist-fight with the president.”
In short, the former VP seems to have gangster-like tendencies.
“When he’s asked about all of these conflicts and all this money made by his family selling his office, he says I don’t know my family’s business,” Giuliani continued. “He says it so often he’s starting to sound like Kay Corleone in the ‘The Godfather.’ The reality is you have to be a fool to think he didn’t know his son was under investigation.”
He expressed this sentiment on Twitter as well:
Biden: Lindsey Graham will “regret his whole life”!
This reminds me of Biden’s decree to the media to silence me on September 29th.
Now a threat to a US Senator. This is getting to be more and more like my old mafia cases. They sure do sound like crooks.

The discussion concluded with Henry trying to stick up for Biden but the former New York City mayor quickly shut him down.
“I don’t care what he said; he’s lying!” Giuliani roared. “He’s been lying all his life. The guy has been a corrupt politician since the brother got phony loans when he was in the Senate. Every place Joe Biden was a point man, appointed by Obama, the Biden family came away with millions.”
He’s the type of guy, it would appear, that it’d be worth having an insurance policy to protect yourself from.
