Disgraced former Rep Katie Hill steps in to criticize GOP Rep for covert Epstein tweets. BIG mistake.

The internet was abuzz following the first public impeachment inquiry into President Donald Trump. Sparked by a whistleblower complaint regarding a phone call with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, the televised proceedings seems to be capturing the attention of the nation.

When Republican Arizona Representative Paul Gosar decided to tweet about the day’s events, he did so in a way that created a news cycle of its own.

In a 23-tweet thread, Gosar discussed all of the points of the current debacle – from the transcript of the phone call to Schiff’s witnesses bending under Republican pressure – in a way that would cause one to think. But he also hid a secret message in his tweets: “Epstein didn’t kill himself.”

The popular meme centered around the now-deceased accused pedophile suggests that someone killed him because he knew too much about too many powerful people. While the official report states that Epstein committed suicide by hanging himself with strips of bedding, some people believe it’s all too convenient. Gosar must be in that crowd.

While the rest of the internet freaked out about this covert acronym being casually slipped into a seemingly normal conversation about impeachment, former California Representative Katie Hill decided to chime in and bring ants to the digital picnic.

The disgraced congresswoman, forced to resign following a threatened ethics probe into her inappropriate relationships with staffers as well as a rumored extramarital affair, thought it would be a good idea to chide Gosar for spreading “conspiracy theories.”

“No like this actually happened,” she tweeted incredulously. “Real members of Congress tweeting out real conspiracy theories. In an acrostic no less.”

(It’s unclear why the “acrostic” part seemed especially upsetting to her.)

But Gosar’s unrepentant sass isn’t reserved for dead pedophiles and sham impeachments. Once he caught wind of Hill’s consternation and disapproval, he just had to respond.

“You’re surprised by me? You single handedly taught an entire country a new word. #throuple And wth is up with that tattoo? Relax,” Gosar tweeted to Hill.

This particular take was massively popular among social media users, as evidenced by the overwhelmingly positive responses:

It’s unlikely that Hill will ever be able to be involved in politics without being reminded of “Throuple-gate,” but that doesn’t appear to be stopping her from trying.
